thats a terrific return and with jay may forms a real two pronged threat but injuries/suspensions would leave us exposed ????????

all we need now is  for it to continue  and ryno, eddie and williams to chip in with 10 each [ quite within their capabilities] and THAT will be a promotion winning side !!!!!!!!!!!

UP THE DARTS

Injuries would leave us with Bradbrook to fill in. Or Eddie or Phil moving up front and yoyo or Kadi to fill in Midfield. Not forgetting Greenie.
Players that are a short step away from returning or on the bench already.
We do need to find some goals from midfield though as these are what win games as forwards get marked out of it a lot more.

Constructive criticism?? Don't get it. If it's still criticism, how is it constructive?

our other player being Jamie Coyle with 4 from 17 games.

If I look here:  http://football.mitoo.co.uk/TeamHist.cfm?CI=9353&DivisionID=2293&TblName=Matches&LeagueCode=ISTH2007
it says that Coyle scored 2 against Waltham Forest. However, everywhere else I have looked says that DFC's first goal was an own goal.
Therefore Coyle's total is 3 in the league or maybe they don't do own goals in the Ryman league?

I have looked here:

Who is right?

Thanks.

, your supporters were very vocal, but two goals in the opening 6 mins helped with that.

Actually when we start strolling at home we normally quieten down. This time it was different, both fans and players had something to prove.

Late with a post as only just back from head office, but the preceding posts sum it all up, goals galore which could and should have been more, sadly two more poor defensive slip ups, but every player giving their all for 90 minutes and most of the time the majority of them were camped in the Witham half including on occasions Ossie.(Those behind the goal were all getting their fivers ready as he struck with that shot on goal).

Eddie was in his element orchestrating the midfield show plus he gets two goals, two more for Cassie, a some what lucky penalty strike from Ryno, but they say if you are going to hit it straight at the keeper hit it hard, a just reward for Jay after his hard work in recent matches and one from Coylie after a piece of magic from Yo Yo.

504 fans were lucky enough to see the game, around another 500 were not so lucky as for whatever reasons they missed the game, genuine reasons for being absent are understandable, (work, illness, prior engagements etc) for those just being negative as we had lost one or two games lately therefore staying away, then lets hope it spurs you on to return on Saturday for a big game against Enfield.

This is the new website and says our entry fee is now £7. Please note the bloke who updates the website lives in Ipswich and when George sends him a report it will be updated on here. George was busy scribbling down, so it should be updated on sunday, the day that Ian updates the site. The club forum, is the most upto date as I do it after each match, it is used purely for passing information to our players/ manager who read it and committee members.

http://www.withamtownfc.co.uk
This is the old website, which is no longer in use and states gate admission £ 5, but this is from a few seasons back.

It will be £7 when you come to Witham, we did not put up our prices for Southend Utd or Chelmsford City and our AGM is not before January, so it will be £7 when you visit.

Thanks for the info W A. Looking forward to the trip next year. Glad to hear you don't put up the prices like some teams.

Thanks guys for updating our website link. Match report section will have the Dartford game on it.When Ian does it Sunday. He does not watch our games, but does our website with snippets we provide him.  I mentioned the (prices) because a few of your supporters mentioned their concern in your clubhouse Tuesday night, and that other teams had put up their prices on the day. I mentioned this to our Chairman and Treasurer (the next day as they could not attend Tuesday) and they were both happy for prices to remain the  same whoever the opposition.

See you on the 5th Jan. Mark.

Good to meet you the other night WA and thanks for the info on the return leg. My wife has family and friends in Witham so there’s a chance you could grab some new supporters when our teams play each other in January. Look forward to seeing you then Mark, but don’t forget to stock the bar/food up on our visit. As for the game I expect a much closer encounter with the players you had missing to return.

Enjoy the rest of the season.

i just have to say that the atmosphere from the fans in the RLN1 has been great this season and far better than some of the crap in RLS1 last season

probably due to them being REAL fans as the fan base is much smaller but much more enjoyable !!!!!!!!!

The welcome we have received at their grounds (with one minor exception) has been great as well.
