Iam glad i decided to make the effort despite my feet transformed into blocks of ice and my face feeling like you do after an anaesthetic at the dentists.

I thought Dartford played some really intelligent, attacking football. Little one-two's, great through passes and all round effort. Especially impressed with T.B, the
other striker no 10, no 7 and the right back at no.4 (sorry, cannot remember thier names).

Finally Phil W, i know he can be frustrating at times but support him nevertheless. Every team needs a player who has the spirit to take people on and the potential
to bring some magic into the team and iam sure when he finally scores it will be a cracker. He made some terrific runs and his pass for the 2nd goal was class.

looked on Dover web site for there take on the game and found this!

I've heard rumours that Hess is using this game as a scouting trip to check out Dartfords best player, Brendan Cass.

Shame he was not playing xnod

Cant see  xdover being able to attract any of our squad what so ever anyway.

Maybe it was to prepare himself for our proper first league meeting next season in the Premier and the onslaught that he may encounter  xnod xwhis

On a very cold night on a hardening pitch we beat what was put in front of us, 3 players who will start on Saturday with squad players and U21's, with a mixture like that it didn't surprise me that some passes etc went astray. Very happy with the win, this competion and the league cup, very useful in giving everyone a game.

We are accused of being a tin pot club with pathetic fans, WHAT CLAPTRAP! A very good turn out last night in the circumstances, well done to the Darts fans.

All the ingredients for success are in the pot simmering away, waiting to boil up!

Forza Dartford!

Anyone got any idea who we've got in the next round (assuming the draw's been made yet)? And what round will it be?

This was something I was trying to workout last night.

The next round is the quarter finals.

As for who we'll play....well its from either Whitstable, Ebbsfleet, Tonbridge Angels, Cray, Margate, Chatham plus the current holders Bromley.
[It took me a while to figure out how the draw could be done with only 7 teams from Round 1! Duh! Forgot Bromley! ]
No sign that the draw has taken place yet on Kent FA website.

I would very much like a pop at Ebbsfleet either home or away, if I'm honest.

Very cold...Champions (Sic) League Football on TV...Christmas Shopping etc.

It was an absolutely fantastic turnout

However, still no Satay's in the tea bar. I ask for them every match. When they do arrive though, yum yum yum

I like you MrsGaz was trying to work out how you get 4 matches from 7 teams :? :? Then a little spark entered my brain and Bromley appeared.

A really enjoyable match and my first look at some of the youngsters.

I think some of the first team could take a few pointers from our reserves especially with some of the pass and move passages of play. No lumping it upfield.

Phil Williams looks exciting but he's going to have to learn to release the ball a bit earlier, but what a talent.

Bradbrook is an aggressive handful of a player and deserved his goal and Yohances pulled back cross from the touchline to set up Kadi's goal was superb.

Special mention to Kadi. Best game I've seen him play for us. Beautiful defence splitting passes and some lovely touches. Also getting stuck in to tackles. He seemed to play with more freedom than he does when he playes alongside O'Brien in midfield. Maybe due to OB dropping too deep at times and leaving Kadi a bit exposed?

Nice to have a chat with the small group of Dover fans in the bar before the game - nice to see you there.

Good game, good crowd and an enjoyable way to spend a freezing Tuesday night - well done all.

Shame about the Numpty at the end though.

I agree that would be like the final itself in any round surely. attendance of possibly 2-3000  xnod
