We gave away some presents to Canvey first half in the form of glaring misses but overall we created many chances and warranted 6! Thought their captain 5 was the one of their main weak links. It made a pleasant change to see away fans, yes we heard you Islanders but very   xdover ESQUE WITH THE DRUM! We did our talking on the pitch! We look forward to the return game in the new year, expect at least 200 from Dartford!

Good crowd, great entrtainment , the only thing missing a Phil Williams goal! Keep going Phil, listen to all the good advice, keep going! To all the other Darts players, very well done, keep the feet on the gas please, thanks TB and co, merry Christmas to everyone!

Difficult to nominate a MOTM. Nobody looked particularly outstanding - especially in the first 60 minutes when so many chances went begging. And I can't really agree with the sponsors' decision. Eddie Mac might be one candidate for me: - he put in a lot of hard work but gave away a lot of fouls as well (he might not have got away with quite as much with another ref). Since he gave nothing away the back and seemed to have a hand in a couple of the goals going forward, I think I'm going to give my vote to Ozzie. But I'll think on it overnight.

Difficult to sing when the first half we didn't play especially well; second half was much noisier.

What a great result ... in the end!!! 1st half we should have been at least 3/4 up!! But I can't blame Cassie on his two 1-on-1 misses because he gave me a lift home, which I'm really grateful for!!! But I must congratulate Brendan (again) on his engagement yesterday to his childhood sweetheart. (Romantic or what!!!)
But I was confident for the 2nd half, even though Jay couldn't quite keep his shot down right at the start!! He was so much sharper today. The future is brilliant. A big thank you to the 'lino' for seeing the handball, as the ref was clueless, (again), but Ryno never misses!! Then the floodgates opened and what a goal-fest it was. The mighty Darts at their best!
Now please come and support this Saturday v Aveley, yes we can swim across!!!

Really? I hardly heard anything from the Grassbank end in the second half - except when the goals went in. Otherwise, I was thinking the choir had got a collective christmas sore throat...

Any news on the Sudbury and Edgeware 3 o'clock kick-off results yet? They aren't on the Ryman site yet, which has DFC top - but presumably only provisionally, depending on the other two results.

Looking at that lot, they all went pretty much to form. Thank goodness we put away six goals today - our GD compared to Sudbury is now down to -3. And who would have thought that Canvey - lingering in mid-table now - would still have a GD of +10 even after today!!!
