Actually, I think Ilfords No 2 Earl Sterling was a nice little crosser of the ball when he got forward. If he'd been a little fitter and lasted the ninety he could have given us a bit more trouble. Shame he had no one to cross to.

I thought the No 8 ( captain) was rather impressive. He seemed to know just where to stand to get the clearances, picked up the ball with confidence and rarely gave the ball away. he seemed to be Kadi, Eddie and OB all in one. Looked a bit like Drogba too. :-D

i do think the comments are harsh, even on the No 4, who seemed to do his job well enough, made a cock up, but how many times have we seen Guesty, Coyle, Flanners and Norman do the same thing.

I still don't think our defense is the complete article yet, as we seem to have been let off the hook a bit in the last few games by poor shooting from the opposition and some great kessie saves.

Trev , even an ardent Ossie fan like me would agree our best 4 is being played at the mo. For me though, they seem to get a bit of luck at times, and are one step away from doing what they were doing last season, and shipping goals.
But as I keep saying , our first line of defence is the Midfield.
I think we are doing well, but we can improve as a TEAM.
