I think given a fair wind and a bit of enthusiasm qwe might even challenge Brentwood's highest attendance this season of 220 or so against Enfield. Come on, let's really show the guys we are behind them, and it's only 20 mins away!

I would hope that we will blow that away with ease. Surely we could take more than 220 of our own.

Fairly heavy rain in Essex this morning - hoping the game will be on but have my doubts if the weather doesn't improve!!!

Its currently dry in Essex and there are no acts on at the Brentwood Leisure Centre tonight, so plenty of parking should be available.

i'm confident the game will go ahead as there hasnt been much rain past week or so fingers x'd!

I'd take a scrappy 1-0 to The Darts but think there maybe a few goals as these midweek games tend to produce goals, if not the crowds when The Darts are not involved!

Should be nice and cosy under the covered bit behind the goal for a good sing song!

Lads if you are reading this we are all thoroughly behind you and a win tonight really cranks up the pressure on the chasing pack!!!

Up the Darts!

I'm gonna try and get to this one as it's unlikely that I'll get to Sudbury.

Tonight is probably if not more important that the Sudbury game.

Win tonight and we go 7 points clear and heap the pressure on to Sudbury. Get it wrong and we give them a way back in, which puts us under unwabnted pressure to restore our advantage on Saturday.

Hope to see you all there tonight.

How important are these next two games?

Two wins and on Saturday night we will be 10 points clear of Sudbury.

That would be presumptious to think that we will win both games... but wouldn't that be great?! :-)

Two wins and on Saturday night we will be 10 points clear of Sudbury.

But not necessarily 10 points clear of Edgeware and Ware after their games on Saturday.

However, assuming they get a win or a draw we might still find ourselves 7 or 8 points ahead of them. It would be a lovely cushion to have.

I don't "presume" we will win both games, but in my heart of hearts I can't think of one fixture for the rest of the season where I would not make us favourites (subject to everyone being fit and available).

Admittedly, we may only be slight favourites in some cases (like these next two games), but I go to every game in the knowledge that if we are at our best, then its going to take one hell of a good team to stop us.

I don't doubt that Brentwood and Sudbury fans may see things differently, as well they should, but we have had 16 years of despair, interrupted occasionally by little spells of tedium, and I don't know about you guys but I think we are due a bit of success.

We have an excellent manager, an excellent squad, an absolutely superb stadium and more fans than all the other clubs in the division put together. Personally, I intend to enjoy every minute of it for as long as it lasts. We should always be respectful of our opponents and never take anything for granted, but at the moment, we are entitled to be confident.

Presume there is no inspection if we've not heard about it already!
