Me and Eagle 88 will be leaving about 5 ish to go too arlesley. Hopefully it will be a good game and taking home 3 points, and still having a good goal difference.
I think it will be a good match. I'm hoping for a good attendence mostely will be darts.
See you all there. xchurchill

I'm doing a 14 hour day today so I can get away early tomorrow.
I love watching this team of ours play and whatever eleven we have on the pitch, the idea of missing the game is unthinkable.
Arlesey is a far old trek so it will be interesting to see how many we can get to make the trip.
Another vital game ... as are they all.

Add another to the list.
Last minute reprieve from the wife and a few subs paid up means ass kicking the troops tomorrow to make sure I leave on time.
Worst scenario, I have a fast car
Best scenario, see the trainers at Kings cross 5:30 I'll bring the walking boots.
Duke keep the phone turned on this time , we may need picking up

This is an e-mail I have just received

Re Arlesey Away on Tuesday.

Game is doubtful at the moment and the forecast for tomorrow night is not good.

Local ref to make an inspection at 1.00pm and to speak to match ref as to conditions at that time;ie if ground frozen then and no chance of temperature rising then the game will be called off at that time. If generally OK at 1.00pm then the match ref will inspect pitch at 3.00pm .Weather warning for tomorrow night - freezing fog

Yeah, I got the call from Peter Martin last night about it. I'll try to keep everyone as updated as possible.

I've just been watching a weather update on breakfast TV - a live report from Hertfordshire (not far from Arlesley), where it looks as if it's been snowing. But it's not snow, it's thick hoar frost - fog that has frozen at ground level. So if it's been freezing overnight AND there is a chance of low-flying fog, the odds must be strongly against tonight's match going ahead.

I can't see it being on - in fact, if there's any doubt at all, I think the ref should call it off due to the amount of travelling involved. I'd hate to get up there and then it get called off.

Would be nice to know early, least we can watch the footy on tv 2nite.

Would be a nightmare, getting up there and then calling it off. Plus expense involved for fans and the club, guessing they would still have to pay for coach hire

Excellent news--having arranged to leave work early today I wasn't sure I was going to admit to anyone here even if it had been called off !!

See you there !!
