I think he'd slot straight onto the left wing.

As he plays in the V league in front of 20,000+ I don't think he'll ever grace the PP pitch. It'd be great though.

Kwashi goal away at Leyton - beats Davie Martin's 35 yarder in my opinion.

65 goals in 3 seasons apparantly for Gach dong Tah Long FC.

I think that was a good match on saturday. Final score 2-0 to the darts. I think the man of the match is John Guest although he suffered a injury to his leg. The team played brilliant and still a good goal difference. xnod

i was just wondering about how kwashi might fit into the current squad ?????

nothing sinister ,  just a bit of fun , [honest !!]

UP THE DARTS

duke son kwashi would boost strengthof squad loads plus he has pace and dribbling skills so would suit playing with our strikers

martin , do you mean the kwashi goal at leighton town [ over near milton keynes ] ??????????

i recall that  nothing was happening in the centre of the park and then suddenly 45 yards out with no warning he chipped it  over the keeper and  it was in the back of the net and us dart fans behind the goal were speachless !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that was pure class and one of my great memories of kwashi

I am one of Tony Burman's biggest supporters but delighted as I was with the victory, I have to say that, like several other posters, I too was very disappointed when I arrived to hear the team selection for Saturday. This is only my opinion of course, but since it was also the opinion of every one of the dozen or so people standing near me on Saturday I think it is fair to mention it.

Surely we have already learned that playing Eddie Mac (in my opinion our BEST central midfield player) out wide left doesn't work! The last time we did this coincided with our worst run of results yet since Eddie was restored to central midfield (away to Waltham Forest) we haven't looked back, scoring shed loads of goals and losing only once.

There is no doubt that Junior Kadi is a fine player and did a good job during Eddie's absence, but as we left Sudbury's ground last week our little group of half a dozen were were ALL worried that TB might be tempted to stick Eddie Mac wide left again in order to fit Junior (who has played very well recently) into the team. All week I had been hoping that this would not happen so was dismayed to find it so on Saturday. It seems as though TB has opted for picking his perceived best eleven players and then trying to fit them into a formation, rather than picking the best TEAM. In my opinion, this resulted in TWO positions being weakened! Junior has done very well recently but I don't care what anyone says, he is NOT as effective as Eddie in the central role. Eddie is average at best when played wide left and he too is clearly not as effective as Phil Williams, Mark Green or Yo Lewis in this role.

Whenever Eddie plays out wide, he tends to drift inside leaving Steve Norman exposed and the left side of the pitch is no longer a threat to our opponents. On Saturday the game was crying out for Phil Williams (or even Greenie or Lewis) to give us some width and an outlet on the left and were it not for the fact that we had some players in other areas give excellent performances, we could easily have come unstuck. The fact that we won shouldn't be allowed to disguise that we were operating significanty below par and in my humble opinion our team selection didn't help. Everything we achieved came down the right hand side and thankfully Ryno chose Saturday to put in one of his awesome performances.

Interestingly enough, we actually looked better late on in the game when they swapped over and Eddie went back inside with Junior on the left. If we are going to play these two together then surely that looks a better option, although personally I think I would go with Phil's pace every time. It's awkward I know, because Phi's had a sticky patch recently and Junior has played really well, but at the end of the day it's all about picking the right component parts to make the most effective team and that is not necessarily as simple as picking the best eleven players.

Junior is a great talent and can, at times, produce moments of absolute brilliance. I suspect that Junior's very best may well surpass Eddie's, but Eddie on the other hand is much more mobile and drves us forward from midfield with a dynamism and energy that Junior doesn't appear to be able to match. For my money, it's Eddie by a country mile ... but if he isn't in the centre then as Saturday once again proved, there's not much point playing him on the wing.

Incidentally, before anyone gets upset, I recognise that Tony Burman is doing a fantastic job and I will of course support whatever team he puts on the pitch. The fact that we have won 10 and drawn 4 of our last 14 games proves this to be the case. This is a discussion forum though, so I am only putting forward my opinion.

Thanks bruv, i've been thinking for days about what i would post but you sum it up perfectly, except that if Redbridge could finish we might not be celebrating a win.

Duke, just read report and i agree that i think it is a fair reflection of the game.
However can't see where it states we battled hard for the 3pts, perhaps it's by the bit that says "Jay May the midfielder" :-D :-D

Yeah i would agree that even when we aren't at our best we still battle and grind out results, the last couple of weeks are proof of that.
A quality that is vital if we are to win things.

Yes, we either playe really well and win, or we have a dodgy game and grind out a win or at worst a draw. Regardless of formations or team selection, we have an excellent squad that just won't lie down and never gives up. I think most of us now believe we are capable of being champions but more importantly, I think the players believe it too.
