This game does not look easy:- The Home form of Bury (last 8 matches) W4 D3 L1 14 goals for  7 goals against +7
                                            The away form of the Darts ( Last 8)     W4 D4 L0  23 goals for  8 goals against +15
Bury are unbeaten at home since the 3-0 defeat by Wingate and Finchley Dec 22nd
And of course The Darts are unbeaten away since the 2-1 defeat at Redbridge Nov 17th
Predictions on a postcard please......................

I think we need the 12th man again (the crowd) to get behind the guys. Let's see if we can get as many to this game that came to the Waltham Abbey game if not more! A 'Sudbury' crowd would be nice but given the distance involved - it is our longest trip, I think that may be asking a lot. Still, with our away support increasing almost every week, we can but hope. Bury's ave home attendance this season is 199 whilst our ave away is 286. Let's hope they have been paying attention to the stats and prepare accordingly (food, programs etc.)

god still 2 games to go before banksy makes his imminent return to a darts game but i can see us with the help of our choir win this 1-0 as we seem to play better against the good teams in this league plus we wont revenge for our last defeat in this league

We should remember that Bury were the last team to beat us full stop, 24th November.

I don't know wether TB will change the team around (although he set the precedent a few weeks back didn't he?) A lot will depend on how Brendon's eye is after the weekend. And anything else that happens between now and next weekend, Eddie's fitness etc.
Whichever 11 + 5 TB picks, we will all be behind them 110% and hopefully the choir can raise the roof at Bury. We will be there, as I hope a lot of you will be.

Cassie getting his injury yesterday (he should be ok) is a BIG warning to us all how thread bare we are up front! No May again next week, god help us if anything happens to King Cassie! With Eddie in one of his bouts of injury we can ill afford any more withdrawls. Yes we have a good squad but its crunch time, a new face or two is needed imho. We all know what happened in the last two seasons where we fell away after being in the box seat for much of the seasons, please do not let this happen again TB.

This is not a pop but a reality check, we really can't afford any more injuries (or suspensions) at this stage.

Bury is a real tough away game, they have already beaten us at PP, suggest that as many fans as possible make the trip, 80 miles is not really that far! Indeed the 12th man is needed so make it happen folks.

Waltham Abbey also beat us at PP and look what happened when they played us at their place...

I don't care what the final score is as long as we get one more than them!!!

Roll on Saturday I can't wait!!!

i know its not the best time to change teams around i would like to see Phil up front with Cassie and Green down the wings. Watched greenie last Tuesday he was very good and very vocal.

The importance of punctuation and good English was never better demonstrated.

Do you mean

1. Phil up front with Cassie, and Green down the wing.

                    or

2. Phil up front, with Cassie and Green down the wings.

If you meant number 1 then I think that's a decent shout.
If you meant number 2 (as suggested by your use of the plural "wings"), then I can't begin to imagine what you are thinking.

Please clarify so I know whether or not to add you to my list of crazy people.

I think greenie or maybe yo-yo could be pushing for a start, they both made postive impacts after coming on as sub yesterday. if cassie is fit I don't see any reason to change the front line. Bradbrook done very well after cass got injured and he'll go from strength to strength the more games he gets.

We're playing our best football away from PP at the moment because teams come to us and park the coach in front of the goal to look for a draw against us next saturday should be different because Bury will come at us and we'll react to that and hopefully maintain our lead at the top, with less drama than saturday though.

see you all saturday

Come On You Darts!!!

Another thing that we have to take into consideration for these remaining matches, is that some, if not most of the opposition have to play midweek. Whereas our players will be rested, that has got to be a big plus for the Darts in the run-in.

We will be prepared, we've had crowds of nearly 2000 here in recent years for various games and coped with them ok.We've also had the lads from Hollyoakes here twice and managed to cope with 1000 screaming teenage girls then.
Be nice to have an idea of how many you might bring beforehand and roughly the time the first ones will arrive.

Would expect at least 200 of us the first ones arriving about half one.
