I was out yesterday so I missed the mini debate concerning my remarks about Norms.

I did mean to say that he had a very efficient game. Other more eyecatching performances have rightly been identified by  other supporters so I just wanted to give Norms and Yohance a plug for their quiet but solid contribution that allowed others to shine and the team to win.

Thanks to Gary Clark for acting as my interpreter.

The whole thing about this is that this was the worst referee's decision I've seen this season.  It was absolutely blatant!!!

This is, I suppose, all water under the bridge but just to say again that we had an equally blatant penalty turned down that would have made it 2-2 and then the game would have followed a different pattern with your penalty incident not occurring.  You won and good luck, that's all that counts now.

By the way, I see we are now both on 98 league goals.  It will be interesting to see who gets there first.  We are at Northwood next Saturday and when we played them at home we were 2-0 up within the first 63 seconds!

Another thought on our non penalty on Saturday.  Had it been awarded we might quite easily have missed.  We have missed a load this season and did so again today.

easy to see why ware have scored so many goals as they played some great one touch football thropugh midfield and obviously mr frendo and pals have been filling their boots against teams who cannot defend as well as we have done since christmas

the game at ware was strange in as much as we could have been 3-0 up in 1st 15 mins but didnt score and them they really belted us BUT that was a very long time ago !!!!!!!!!!!!!

ware will be a real threat in the play offs

But you can't help admiring the subtle professionalism of the tug - arms down by his side, concealing the contact with the shirt. Wily old cove, that No. 4, wasn't he?
