Interestingly, the poster on the Enfield site has based this on what he has read on this site.

He may well think that as will any manager who has watched our team.
The problem they have is if they actually have the 6 spare players with that kind of skill level to stop our wingers :-D

Constructive criticism?? Don't get it. If it's still criticism, how is it constructive?

Evening all

Bit of advice re car parking.  There is a smallish car park in front of the ground, but it is usually full from about 2.00.  The Downs is the overflow car park which is opened around that time; the entrance is on the left before the main car par, through a set of double gates onto the adjacent training pitches - just park around the edge.  Be warned - it is the first of the two entrances on the left - if you find yourself driving along a tarmac path, you've taken the wrong one!

As for the pitch, it drains pretty well, and I don't see any problems for Saturday.  Keep an eye on our homepage and forum; they're usually pretty up to date.

Look forward to seeing you all Saturday.

Hi father jack can you tell us about the bar there.
Do you have real ale and have you stocked up enough for a few thirsty Dartford supporters ? :-D

Don't think we do real ale (don't drink personally), but the bar is well-stocked and spacious enough to accommodate a few thirsty Darts.  We'll all be too busy working out how to shut down your wingers (to be fair, it was a Sudbury fan who posted that on our forum!)  :-)

Is that "wingers" or the "whingers"? :)

And just remember, Father Jack, it'll be more than just a few thirsty Darts fans, given that we are expecting 200-300 to travel.

Blimey Father Jack, you've sobered up since Father Ted passed away. I knew he was a bad influence!
