17th March 2008 Notes
« on: March 17, 2008, 12:14:21 PM »

I think Saturday was a very good performance away from home against Enfield and we deserved the three points from the game.It was also nice to play in a game that was not spoiled by the windy conditions unlike the two previous Saturdays.

What was also very good on Saturday was our set pieces which enabled three of our back four to score goals.Set pieces are very important to a team and carried out correctly can be a major asset to the strike force. We have been very strong all season in this area with a return of 31 goals from the back four which is fantastic.

We got what we wanted on Saturday which was 3 points we have to move on now to the weekend.Easter is always an important date in the football calendar with two games in a short space of time.We have a squad that is more than capable of reaching its goals,we will stay focused on what we have to do and again at this moment in time Saturdays game is the most important because its the next one.

Thanks for your support
