21st March 2008 Notes
« on: March 21, 2008, 10:37:21 AM »

Again this week the players have trained very well and the sprit in the camp
is excellent.Luke has had his first weeks training  with us and as looked
very sharp and Nick Barnes trained last night after signing from Ashford.Yes
I was disappointed with Nick when he left the club but I think he will be a
good addition to the squad and gives me the fourth player in the middle of
the park to choose from, which I think at this stage of the season is very
important. We have a week before the transfer deadline and I may be bringing
in one or two more players to strengthen the squad further simply to cover
for any unforeseen circumstances.

On the injury front Alex as been nursing a calf injury but will be fine for
tomorrow,Tom Bradbrook will be added to the squad after having two wisdom
teeth removed last week,Brad Potter is still not quite right and will be out
for another week, and then we come to Eddie who as been out of action for
five weeks now to say its been frustrating for everybody is an
understatement but the fact is that he is close to being fit but not close
enough to take a chance and in my opinion if it goes wrong we could lose him
for the rest of the season.

I have to say I am really looking forward to the Easter programme and in
particular tomorrows game I hope again many of you can get to the match and
get behind the team to help them get three points. I want the players to
enjoy themselves they have worked very hard to get us into a good position
and with your great support I think we can maintain it

Thanks for your support
