After the euphoria of Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, it is absolutely vital that we all come back to the realisation that we haven't won diddly squat unless we finish the job. Brentwood is a tough game and we need to maintain our usual high standards to win it. Being our next game, it is therefore (as usual) the most important game of the entire season and one that we absolutely, positively must win!

I hope and pray that our team goes out there on Saturday all fired up for this huge occasion because they are on the verge of making some new Darts history. I am sick and tired of talking about the glory days of Peter taylor, John Still and Ernie Morgan, almost as much as my son Matt is sick of hearing about it. We are now on the verge of delivering a new chapter in history so that in 20 years time, Matt can bore his kids by going on and on about the great Tony Burman era.

Good luck to Tony and the players on Saturday, the whole town is proud of you.

ps. Please try to win the league on Saturday 12th April.

I think we might do our bit, but the rest is in the hands of Sudbury et al.  xbow xbow xbow xbow

The incentive for the players should be what happened at their place after Jays tackle (admittedly a crap tackle) but they knew what they were doing crowding around the referee making sure he sent him off (which he probably deserved to go on its own)

Also if you had heard some of the rubbish being spouted by their assistant manager during the game you would understand why I want to win this game desperately....added to the fact that it will be 3 more vital points towards the title! My view would be that they were lucky to get a point playing against 10 men for 85mins on a horrible night so lets show them what we can do with all 11 on the field and us raring to go!

No reason why we shouldnt go out their and 'bury' Brentwood! (had to get bury in their somewhere!)

Lets also hope the sun comes out so we can boost the attendance!

Yes, we can't afford to lose - or even draw - on Saturday, or the Sodbury fans will be all too quick to start throwing Tuesday's rather OTT crowing back in our face, especially if they win (which seems highly likely).

Keep gargling, fat lady!

He we go again feet on the floor. We are not interested in anyone else just Dartford and hopefully three points and a good performance by the boyys. We have five games to go and just need to play (you guessed it) one game at a time. All that is on offer saturday is the same as every saturday three points and we have done that all season so let us focus on that.

can actually anyone see brentwood beating us at pp ? ok they have had an awesome season after getting promoted last season but getting hammered 5-0 away at northwood last saturday would hardly have done there confidence any good but they did win 2-1 at home to wivenhoe tuesday night. playing at pp however is a whole different story for visiting teams

Yeah - must of them up their game! But it's quite a long time since we really stuffed someone, so maybe this week's the right time!

Actually, Banksy. I feel the Darts are under more pressure at home. Because if things start to go wrong, there are a whole lot more people to whine and get on their backs. When the lads are away, every man-jack of the supporters are behind them all the way.
2-0 you say, I'm hoping for a bigger win than that. 4-0.

Goals , goals , goals would be lovey , especially two as we would get to 100 in the league but I would settle for an ugly 1-0 , but am hoping for a comfortable 2-0 or 3-0 as when you are only leading by a single goal nearing the end of the match you just never know , even with our Indestructables.

Ditto, it's the price we pay for having a son/nephew who decides to get married in the bloody football season.

This game is mega important, Brentwood will be well up for it as all teams are that visit PP. They are also in the hunt for a place off place so we must approach the game in the right frame of mind, i'm sure TB and the players will. IMO we should as always be positive right from the start.

I just hope Tony Burman has emphasised to the team just how important it is that we win the league before the wedding.

Constructive criticism?? Don't get it. If it's still criticism, how is it constructive?

Spike never talks about himself in the third person Coney, but if he did he would say something witty and profound about winning it on the 5th instead, thereby keeping everyone happy.

... although that would require a lot of co-operation from Sudbury.

Didn't really mean to do a 'Banksy' and go the third person route, just missed the quotation marks. Have corrected my sentence as my old English teacher would turn in her grave otherwise.

Think the attendance will be around 1350-1400, sorry if i'm not as optimistic as some of you others but last week there was a few games off and the bank holiday helped.
Having said that if we get our regular 1200+ that will still be fantastic.
