Make no mistakes this is a massive game--I know all about 'taking one game at a time' and 'football is a funny old game' but can't help looking at our remaining games. With a maximum of 12 points needed (baring Sudbury going goal crazy) and 3 of our remaining games 5 games against teams currently in the bottom 6, I feel this is Saturday is the clincher.  I know teams won't roll over for us but the way we are playing at the moment and the confidence the team has I really can't see us not getting anything but 9 points from those 3 games against Tilbury, Wingate and Potters Bar.

Good for my nerves, and all other Darts supporters, that we now have a bit of breathing space (thanks to Bury)--knowing over the last few games that potentially one slip up from the Darts could have opened the door for our friends from Sudbury, was frightening.

We all knew a while ago that March would be a massive month for us and the team have done us proud--I know there's a danger of thinking the hard work is done now but i'm sure TB and the team will be guarded against complacency.

Hope someone has a strong word in Jay's ear before the game as no doubt they will try and wind him up ( I know  I would if I was in Brentwoods shoes).

Anyway as I can't make the Tilbury home game as I'll be out of the country, I'm hoping we wrap it up before then (or after if we must) --will be gutted to miss the celebration after all we've been through this season.

The Fat lady is in the building, she's warming up and about to go on stage and I can't wait !!

Personally speaking, April 12th is a bit inconvenient for me (brother's stag weekend) so I'd be much obliged if TB could sort it for either 5th or 19th April. xwhis

No mention of the match at all on the Brentwood forum, looks like the Drummer boys will stay away from a match 15 miles away then!

Go do it Dartford boys, believe!

The Brentwood forum has been down, hence no mention of this match. I doubt they are looking forward to coming to PP, but they are still in with hopes of a play off place. Weather looks set fair for this one, i reckon 1500 + is on the cards. It would be good to get a few goals up so the subs can get a good run out. First things first though, secure those vital three points. :-D

Would be delighted with 1500+ but for some reason I reckon it will be under that!

the brentwood site was down[ same people run canveys and enfield ] but been back since tuesday but it is  poorly subscibed to and obviously a visit to dartford conjures up very little interest !!!!!!!!

we got a very good result over their [ easily could have won it even with 10 men] they will be no slouches but if we can play as previous 10+ games then we will get a result

UP THE DARTS

i am going for it kebabus, i know you have history in predicting attendances but i think this one will be closer to 2000 which leaves us two more chances hit 2000+ this season

Rambo I also hope you're right as well!

Our home crowds are fantastic for the level we play at!

Looks like the Brentwood team will be up for it, below is a quote from their Captain Steve King writing in the Brentwood Local Rag

Quote
+++++

There was no point in risking my knee injury on Monday especially with us playing top of the league Dartford on Saturday, which I am desperate to play in.
It will be the biggest game of the season for us and I have played at their ground before with the fire brigade and its a lovely ground and they always get
large crowds. You want to play in the big games and it would be nice if we could beat the potential champions.

From TB's notes there will be no complacency and we cannot afford it, as Princess Park is still obviously motivating opposition teams.

Ok thats settled, we should win the title on the 5th. Spike, get to them Sudbury games, as the team can't win it then without you!

Constructive criticism?? Don't get it. If it's still criticism, how is it constructive?

No predictions from me,all I will say is, hard work, no complacecy, good football, respect for the oppo and a never say die attitude will get us a long way along the road to 3 points, I honestly don't care if we win 1-0 or 21-0 as long as we get a win, this is our league to lose, let's make sure that doesn't happen.COYDssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

I'm sure we all agree that any win is important, but let's not forget the fun factor in all of this. I fancy an afternoon where the Brentwood keeper gets back ache would be better than one where we scrape a fortunate 93rd minute goal. The club has got where it is this season by showing a certain amount of flair and panache, long may that spirit live on. We are nearly there, let's enjoy it as much as we can. i don't take anyone for granted, but i do have faith in the team to win and win well.

Think we will hopefully get about 1470 to the game . I dont think we need to worry about the team being motivated for this one after that mamoth game at there place. Whatever it takes, lets keep the points tally going. Interested   to see who starts on the left Green/Williams, is Eddie still out?
