After Saturdays loss at home, the players shouldn't need any speeches, that result should give them all a kick up the back side to be honest, its back to a more determined hungry Dartford side for me, with louder more passionate away support! All roads lead to Potters Bar.

Quite right Gregg.

I'm very much still of the opinion that we'll win this league and I for one would like to see some Dartford FC glory of my own without listening to the stories of how good we used to be way back when. But ultimately it's up to the players.

The whole squad must realise that the performance on Saturday was well off the pace and hopefully they will want to put this right at the weekend.

From my own point of view I'd like to remind them that they have come too far now to chuck it all away.

You are top of the league for a reason, and that reason is because you are the best team in this league and have proved that consistently over the last 30+ games. And I'm sure that in a few weeks time you would rather like to go down in Dartford FC history as the team that took us into the Ryman Premier League as Champions rather than the team that almost did something, came close but ultimately weren't up to it.

I know you can do it, 1,200+ fans know you can do it, your management certainly knows you can do it........ and so do you.

I'm off on holiday this week, and I fully expect to come back on the 12th to find that you're either still top and on course for that which you so richly deserve or that other circumstances have gone our way and that you are Champions elect. If you don't.................... then expect the wrath of Custard.

So endeth the lesson.

Actually Banksy I'm missing three games. Not happy but there it is.

Fortunately my being there or not doesn't effect how this team will play.

If they play the way we know they can we'll have no problems.

i think we should get as many as possible down to Potters Bar this Saturday. 200-300 minimum, and we should all create a great atmosphere down there to let the boys know that we still believe that we will win the league. I dont think anything will get the boys more pumped up than seeing the choir going mental and getting behind them for the full 90. Dont think the Potters Bar lot will know what to think when the Dartford Carnival comes to town, especially when they average abuot 50 at home games.

It is quite simply the worse place you have to play at, bar Aveley, both for players and supporters, and one of the most unfriendly grounds there is.
There may only br a few of them, but they go out of their way to make you feel as unwelcome as they can.
Mind you, we have Wingate and Finchley, which runs it close!

I am hoping to actually see us score at PB this time - last time, I missed our goals due to queuing up for a cup of tea :(

thanks for the info royal but we have been there a couple of times already [ and won] so we have no fear !!!!

if they dont want to be friendly then that will NOT worry us one little bit and we will be totally focussed [ as will our team be ] on getting 3pts to readdress  " our blip  " last saturday

have NOT looked yet who you are playing on saturday but hope its  [on paper] a hard one NOT helped by tired legs after a real tough game on wednesday cause ramsgate are a hard [ has been said dirty ] side and you will get no favours !!!!!!
