The comeback on Saturday shows the belief this team has in itself. When it comes down to the wire, our supporters share that belief. If you want proof, just look at the online postings on Saturday; even at 4.50+ pm no-one had given up the ghost. That comes from the strong consistency and dominance we have shown this season.

Yes, there have been some nerves and there may be a few more twists and turns still to come. Winning leagues is tough at any level. But have no doubt, on Saturday these lads will pick up their shields and remind their opponents and above all themselves, they are the best team in this league. Tilbury won't know what's hit them.

From then on, there will be no stopping us.

Time Out Guys  !!!          Anyone logging on here would think we're a team that's in turmoil and facing relegation instead of a team that is on the verge of winning the League--I for one have loved every moment of this season---sure it hasn't been perfect but people need reminding that these are not players on £ 80,000 a week---they are ordinary working class people that all hold down full time jobs as well as give their commitment to the Darts  (and they're a lot better footballers than any of the clowns that are coming on here criticising them--and Yes I know they get paid, but I don't know what, and to be honest I don't really care)----we are 6 points clear, having scored 100 League goals and people are still not happy--Jeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzz  !!!!!!!!!--never mind--I'm  sure if next season if we're not 12 point clear at the top of the premiership the moaners will  start again !!

Be happy and lets get behind the team for the next 3 crucial games --now is not the time for criticism  especially when most of it is unwarranted!!!!!!!!!!!!   :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

the moaners are in the minority and the true fans are 100% behind the team , proof was the noise level [ near me anyway ] especially in the last 10 minutes [ although it did go quiet for a minute when PB got their  2nd goal !!] which must have helped ??????

of course we really expected 6 points from the last 2 games and even the most die hard fan is a bit twitchy BUT it is in our hands and we have NOT become a bad team overnight so have every reason to be [ quietly] confident of winning the league

ROLL ON SATURDAY AND UP THE DARTS

...and having stood at Stonebridge Rd/Ship Lane Thurrock watching some abject displays (mind you im so pessimistic that I spose you think I enjoyed that!?) in the Doc Martens Eastern divison/Ryman League reshuffle in years gone by ...

To be honest, I find it unbelievable that if you genuinely had been through all that with the other 200 or so of us, that you would even think about posting some of the negative and destructive comments that you have  xshake

It defies belief that having gone through all the crap of recent seasons, that you don't value enormously the experience that we're all going through together at the moment xshrug

It just goes to prove that some people are simply never going to be happy!

Dartford FC in my opinion should go to places such as Potters Bar and stamp our class all over the opposition as after all we are champions elect....And we didnt!

After all to quote from last week prior to the game 'if we cant go to Potters Bar and win then there is a problem'!

I dont have to prove my supporting credentials to anyone its not a contest about who has suffered the most through the years watching the team...but you can choose to take my comments anyway you wish that is your perogative but some of you seem amazed that we are in the position we are in with 3 games to go...I expected us with the extra resources and superior infrastructure to anyone else in this league to be there!

Ive not been happy with our central midfield displays since Eddies enforced absence and again that is my perogative to state these comments! TB has got a lot right and has changed the squad significantly in last 18 months...the one area he hasnt remains the biggest problem facing the team and it has been there for a while!!

agree with you there totally daniel homes i was the person that said that quote and most darts fans will agree with you that when we play to our potential we will see off potters bars and the likes no problem. But that games has passed and gone now lets focus on the positives from saturday of a great comeback in last 5 mins and hope for a performance to our potential this saturday in front of our own support against tilbury

Perhaps we "should go to places such as Potters Bar and stamp our class all over the opposition" and in our ideal world we would, but it doesn't always work out like that. That's why football is so interesting. The best teams don't always beat the worst ones. They should but they don't.
All that matters is that over 42 games we gain more points than any other team in our division. It doesn't matter where those points come from. I'm confident that we will do that.

Man u couldn’t stamp out Middlesbrough at the weekend and as already mentioned its what makes football interesting, lets get behind the team a great last minute come back and just 3 more games and we will win the league that is surly the experience every true fan strives for and I for one couldn’t be happier COYD

I was standing with the Duke for the second half and the support for the team was awsome from where we was standing.

Yes we went quite when they scored there second goal! BUT what these teams are doing is cementing there positions in this league.

of cause they are going to be up for it, they have the mighty DARTS in town.

the next three games are tough but i believe we will this league and move up. xnod

To be fair DHS, we HAVE stamped our class all over loads of teams this season, that's why we are top and poised for glory. The truth is though, you can never expect to do that to EVERYBODY and you will occasionally come unstuck. For someone who has been coming as long as you have I'm surprised you don't seem to get that.

In essense, I do actually agree with you about the central midfield, in fact I think most people probably do. It's just that your postings come across disproportionately hostile to the position we find ourselves in. Simply put, the positives outnumber the negatives by about 20 to 1 and you seem a bit pre-occupied with the 1.

You don't seem to be getting any joy out of our current success and for someone who's been around through the rough times that is a shame.
