Tony Burman and the team are on the verge of making some long awaited new history for the Darts and having watched 95% of all Darts games home and away for the last four decades, I am gutted that I won't be able to get to the game tomorrow. Nevertheless,to the players I would say go out there and do your best lads because I am sure you are more than good enough to win the last four games and clinch the title you so thoroughly deserve. In fact everyone associated with this club deserves this success because of all the hard work and effort that have gone into keeping the dream alive. Win it for Malcolm and rest of the fantastic supporters who have turned out in astonishing numbers, win it for Tony Burman who has done a great job through troubled times and stuck it out through thick and thin, win it for Jeremy and the council who have done the town proud, win it for Dave Skinner and the directors and officials who never gave up and kept the club alive and most of all win it for yourselves so we the supporters will still be talking about you in 20-30 years time.
Tomorrow will be the first time in 3 years where I have been somewhere else in the UK at the same time as a Darts first team game. Along with Matt's wedding on 19th this will mean missing BOTH of the last two away games. I'm going to be a bundle of nerves between 3pm - 5pm tomorrow so Welsh Waffler, Skip and Ronaldo .... please keep those text messages coming through lads ... I'm depending on you.
Anything less than a Darts win tomorrow is simply unthinkable.
