What the hell has happened at Tilbury?

When we played them earlier in the season they were a pretty good side that gave us a decent and very enjoyable game. All I seem to hear about them now is stuff about fighting between players and supporters, smashing up dressing rooms, breaking rules, playing banned players, arguments and disputes galore!!! The club does seem to have some very serious discipline issues that urgently need to be addressed. It's a shame, they looked a decent side but the wheels have certainly come off since then. I hope they behave themselves on Saturday.

lets hope they are in disarray on saturday cause it seems that once they get behind they fall apart and lose heavilly

HERE'S HOPING ??????????????

I think honestly that we will win tomorrow regardless of who we put out if the whole  squad is available for selection!

However Eddie must start in the middle of the park so he can join up the play between the defence and attack rather than us playing long to Jay so he has to try and create as well as score the goals required!

An early goal will be nice to settle any nerves but lets get stuck into them tomorrow and show them why we are champions elect!

Once again it looks as if the weather will play a part in the game tomorrow but if we come out of the stalls quickly and get a vital early goal this should calm the nerves. On Radio Kent 2 weeks ago TB mentioned he was not happy with the pre-match build up with “We Are The Champions” by Queen being belted out over the tannoy and the general feeling that we have it in the bag…let’s not make the same mistake again.

Good luck to everyone for tomorrow.

Yes, see you soon Custard and don’t forget my bottle of Châteaux Rousteux.

Tomorrow, the players should run out to the tune of "It ain't over baby 'til its over".

Yes, we may well be the best team in the league, but we haven't won anything yet and lets not forget it.

The best performances I have seen from the lads this year were in games where we hassled, harried and chased our opponents relentlessly for the whole 90+ minutes. It's not enough just to be the best team, we have to work our socks off too otherwise its very easy to slip up against so-called lesser opposition and everything that we have achieved up until now could end up worthless.

100% total commitment is what is required and we must treat Tilbury with the same respect as if they were a top of the table team. If we do that then surely victory will be ours.

........Nah. Might be a "now" day, but no way is it going to be a "never" day. I could do without the added tension admittedly, but we are still going to be in the mix whatever happens today.

Just about to leave home having carefully wrapped myself around a bottle of vodka.....medicinal. The blue skies took on an armageddon hue, and the heavens opened up....and this from a fundamentalist atheist.  xtip This is an omen.......for Tilbury. Hope the pitch holds up.
