judging from what paul sawyer was saying on the podcast, we will probably almost completely change the team during the game - each player will play 45-60 minutes so they can get used to playing footie after their 3 month rest

It does help alot becuase there was speculation by all CAFC fans I know attending that you wouldnt be able to get on the night.

just contact your club, I am not being funny but all Official Websites are realy poor. We beat BrainTree yesterday 9-0 no report on the official website with no announcements on who scored and played ect. Realy perfetic!

Speaking to a couple of the players on saturday the only player not to turn up yet is Alex O'Brien.Assume on holiday or injured,no one seemed to know.

I would like to say to any Charlton fans going to the game who live locally take a good look at the surroundings, supporters, facilities, team...and ignore Charlton this year they are crap another medicore season in the Championship is on the cards and come and support the Darts instead! Thank you!

The Game is now on the Charlton Website.

Addicks on cloud nine
It was raining goals on Saturday as two Addicks sides racked up 15 between them - for while Alan Pardew presided over a thumping 6-0 win over Ebbsfleet United at Stonebridge Road, a second Charlton XI netted a whopping nine times without reply against Blue Square South Braintree Town.

Chris Dickson led the goal spree at Cressing Road, helping himself to four goals as the Addicks ran riot in the 9-0 victory.

Svetoslav Todorov played in Charlton colours for the first time since sustaining a season-ending knee injury in October, and Lloyd Sam and Matt Holland were among the senior contingent on show in Essex.

The Addicks were seven goals to the good at the interval as the Iron, mainly made up of trialists, struggled to live with the slick passing and devastating finishing.

Winger Sam chipped in with two goals and Ben Godfrey, Yado Mambo and Sam Long were also on target.

Meanwhile, most of the non first-team players who appeared against Braintree will again be in action in a friendly against Dartford at Princes Park on Tuesday night (7.45pm).

Tickets, priced £10 adults, £5 concessions and 14-17 year olds, and £1 U14s, will be on sale on the night, but only from the Dartford FC club shop after 5pm (not at the turnstiles
