Spot on Dorset Dart, exactly the team and formation i would like to see at harlow 2 up front, noble pushed up closer with day in the starting line up and Butterworth to start, lets face it 1 up front is not working and to get 3 points in this league it simply wont work while we let in silly goals, you cant give teams 2 nil head starts and expect to score 3 every match.
I dont wanna go over same old ground but Ozy you hit the nail on the head ryno is a 20minute player which is why i would have him on the bench and use him 2nd half to run at tired defenders where he might be more effective.
For me its Butterworth to start as least he shows grit, determination and goes past players and yes i hold my hands up, as at the the time of the signing i had doubts, but along with noble looks very good.
Im sure if we play with an attacking side and take the game to Harlow we can get something out of the game maybe the 3pts.
Come on Tony forget the 1up front lets go for the points tomorrow.

Again upset over the result but if we keep pressing and get that first goal im sure we can go on up from there. Just gutted really. However will be there monday and shall be bringing my drum as Banksy has gone part time!

COYD

firstly banksy is kind of glad he missed yesterday as kev told me the performance was shocking so instead of watching the mighty darts i had a nice 3 and half hour drive to pompey in traffic then played cricket in chicester were my team got thrashed but the evening was made better by alcohol
sponge i will be back for tommorrows game at harlow so bring your drum and smack in timing with me
also i hear we had a nice sing off with hastings in the bar which i missed.
hopefully see plenty of darts fans tomoz at harlow

the referee was poor yesterday and not biased towards either side

he should have booked a couple from each side in the 1st half but bottled it so it really meant that hastings could kick lee noble at will and their GK could waste time at his will , i think a lot of refs would have sent off danny dafter in the 2nd half

whilst refs dont actually win or lose games ,  their actions do have an effect on the game  AND I believe that after the first time a keeper obviously wastes time he should get a warning , the 2nd time a yellow card and the 3rd time sent off , i wiould have a little bet that we would see a reduction in time wasting - all 3 actions are legal and available to the ref but they are gutless so it will go on !!!!
spot on Duke.At one point when their keeper was playing slow motion with the ball the ref told him several times then when he took no notice of him he just gave an exasperated look and ran off.that was the point when the keeper realised he could do what he wanted and get away with it.Not biased, just incredibly weak.

I don't think the only one up front debate comes into it this time as we started with Powell up front with Cass. I agree that Cass would feed off of a big target man better but the fact is that we missed some great chances and got punished for a couple of mistakes. We seemed to panic about an hour too early. As soon as we let a goal in we started to launch long balls straight up to the front men instead of staying patient and playing the ball around. I'm pleased to see a midfield that actually wins tackles at last. At least we are creating enough chances to win games. We just need to take those chances and we'll be ok.
