I dont think Barnsey is very happy with Dartford Knight according to his facebook status.

To be fair it is one of the strangest posts ive ever read.

Barnsey was one of our best players in pre season and has worked extremly hard to get 100% fit after Tony laid down the challenge to him.

As for Noble being on the bench. U obviously dont watch the same games as the rest of us

Our team should be :-

Kessell (untill TB can replace him) Coyle Guest Flannergan Ketchell (Norman when fit)
Ryno Dafter Butterworth (Eddie when back) Day
Howarth Cass

Subs Lee Noble - Tommy Osbourne - James White - Ray Powell - Butterworth (when Eddie is back)

Butterworth centre midfield ?

Having read evoryone`s comments and we all have ours.Mine are at half time there manager said chuck everything onto the left back as in the air we can get something and they did.I am not having a go at Ozzie I think he is and has been a great signing(to come off the bench and shore things up)But they did because of the twenty or so balls in the second half 99% were on our no3.

The problem arose because Tony had to use Ketch to replace Flanners so we could do little about it

Almost every corner went in the same place bar a couple, why.

These sides in this division will find chinks in the armour and go for it,and they did and it worked but we are learning eery game or relearning in some cases

In my oinion we would have won the game on Tuesday if Flans had stayed on and Tony could have put Ketch on at right back .This is not having a go t Ozzie he as I said to him is a great signing to have the patience to come fom the bench and never moan .He is a blessing to any manager.

I look forward to others opinions on mine.

PS I have every confidence n this squad of players and as thier confidencegrows we will progress up the league.

So in essence it is a learning curve and Tony and the boys are learning and I would suggest that come christmas we will look back and smile a bit and remember we have only played is it six games.

I love the quote about Lee Noble not being able to withstand getting kicked all over the pitch for 90mins every week and being too small!

DK you obviously didnt see Jays 'tackle' over at Brentwood last year on him which he just bounced up from and he was far and away the best player the Darts came up against last season!....and he has started this season superbly!!

I have to say that I was impressed with Ossie's performances in the pre-season friendlies and thought that he was looking better than in the last couple of seasons.

However I have never ever been happy with him at left back and prefer him in the right back position where he played in the friendlies and was surprised that Tony didn't put Ketch at left back and move Coylie into centre defence with Ossie in his usual right back position.

Can't fault Ossie's commitment and I prefer to say that losing the experience and captaincy of Flanners cost us the game as central defence didn't look happy after the change.

Even before that substitution several of their players were firing in corners, free kicks and crossses high in under the bar and to me it looked as if they had practised these moves with a view to Kessie being short for a keeper and perhaps he would be struggling under pressure from their forwards. xshrug
