Well, you would have thought that going up a league the officials would improve, I can only hope that we have got the shit out of the way and the rest will be better. There are not enough words in the Oxford English Dictionary to describe such a useless individual in black!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The guys done well today, if Jamie hadn't gone for the early bath (which form our perspective could have been justified xshrug xshrug ) I do think we would have had the 3 points sewn up by half time. But once again we take the lead and concede an equaliser almost from the kick off - I didn't even have time write the text before I had to change it! Poor old Lee I don't know what the woodwork has against him but he keeps hitting it. Good goals from Daffy and Rob we just need to score more of them. Roll on Carshalton on tuesday nite.

Quite an honest report from the Wealdstone fan.

I think for overall effort we probably deserved the 3 points but I am sure that when we went down to 10 men, TB would have gladly taken a point.

Anyway, its Carshalton on Tuesday and lets hope we get a decent ref for a change.

So far this season I have chosen not to pass on my thoughts after the game as I wanted to give the lads and Tony a chance to settle before making comments. After the last two games I held my tongue as not to abuse the match officials. I can stand it no longer ...................! What the bloody hell do we have to do to get an even break??? xshrug Jamie has put in a tackle which looked late but according to those closest to it was not a straight red (can't wait to see the video) and the guy is screaming on the floor before getting up and falling down then running around with no sign of injury after the red had been issued. If the report about an assessor is correct then we may get justice but we wont get the dropped points back. Lee Noble has played five league games and could have at least five oppo players on GBH charges for the treatment he has received but yet again there is no protection from the men in black. The Butterworth decision looked laughable - to not even speak to the thug who pole axed him was poor but then to book the darts man shows that the guy didn't have a clue. All we hear from the FA is about the RESPECT campaign and how we need refs. The FA can shove that campaign up their a#se! I was told you have to earn respect and I cant think of one official that has come close to that this season. If that guy today has any respect for himself then he will hang up his whistle and not ruin another game of football and if he doesn't then I feel very sorry for the next team on the receiving end of his laughble attempts to be in charge.

Onto the mighty darts - We battled and never looked like a team of ten. I thought Noble and Butterworth were great and caused all sorts of problems for the oppo by running at men at pace. Danny Dafter bossed the middle of the park and I lost count of the tackles and headers he put in. Of more concern however is the way we are defending - how many times are we going to let players run at our box and bang in shots from 25 yards - it cost us several times last year and it looks like it could cost us again.

Onto the final point - Rob Haworth - Looked absolute quality again today - Hassled defenders, chased the ball down, won headers, linked up play. I cant say I am a fan of 4-5-1 but if we play it then we have found the lone front man.  xbow. I still look forward to 4-4-2 with a Cass/Haworth partnership but I cant fault the chances we have created of late and the way our boys gave everything.

Onwards and upwards - lets hope the real ryman premier officials turn up on tuesday.

First of all i must thank every Darts player today for the couragous performance you put in today with an inept ref who was sooo out of his depth today, please whoever has the video, give it to TB and appeal that red! Dartford fc we are proud of you.

Where was Sony filming from today? From the press area or Princes road side? If it was from the press box he must have a brilliant view of the incident.

Look on the bright side - According to the FA website the next ref we get is MR S A CHILD who happens to have served in three games so far --- all conference south.

Totally agree with all on here, it was a superb game of football a good all round team effort, my man of match would be between butters, noble&haworth with butters&noble just shading it for their energy&skill levels which they maintained every minute spent on the pitch, who knows how many we would have scored today with 11 men!
In every match so far this season the ref's have been poor, but today's ref topped them all he was shockingly BAD.
After monday's performance against harlow and now today's performance its looking very good for the rest of the season if our last 2 games is anything to go by,so roll on tuesday play like today we may hit someone for 6!...let it be carshalton tusday night.

After going down to ten men so early in the game, for what looked like a 50/50 challenge, i thought the ref had ruined the game. From a Darts fans perspective he did, but if there was a nuetral watching that game he would be hard pressed to watch a better game this season.
The challenge looked like both players went in studs up, if there was a yellow card to be issued i can honestly say i couldn't decide which player would recieve it. The red card was a total shock!

All i can say is the responce from the players in the first half was nothing short of outstanding, and how we didn't go in at half time 4-2 up i just don't know.

I'm new to following Dartford as i have said before, but i am highly impressed with the players this season, nothing seems to have gone their way. The ball just dosn't seem to drop in our favour, or the woodwork gets in the way, but the effort and commitment by the players has been top notch.

I don't want to single out a player for man of the match, but with a re shuffled back four and being a man down so early, i would give it to the whole team such was their performance.

After the match i had a pint and as i was leaving the Wealstone players were lined up waiting to leave, i stopped to ask them what they thought, they said it was a fantastic game to be involved in and they thought the stadium was quality. Fair play to them as i thought they played there part in a great game.

I walked downstairs and bumped into TB who was happy to stop and chat, he said the ref was happy to look at the tape before making his final report. And his assesment of the team was "I just can't find fault in our display" and i agree 100% and what a nice fella he is.

I've been to all 3 home games and if we had an once more luck we would be 6 points better off by now.
