U-12’s Result from Sunday, 28th September ’08:

Darenth Rangers Reds 4 – DFC 2 (ht: 2-1)

Playing without any of their two ‘recognised’ keepers, due to illness and injury, the young Darts still took an early lead. However, they were undone by unfortunate errors, with a couple of good strikes from Darenth.

A tough Home match at the Leigh.T.Academy, v Springfield F.C awaits the battling lads this coming Sunday. KO: 10.30am

Result from u-12’s SELKENT ‘B’ League, Sunday 05/10/08:

DFC 1 – Springfield F.C 2 (ht: 0-1)

Despite a depleted squad and in greasy conditions, our lads did well enough to contain the newly – promoted side. They’ll learn and improve.

Villacourt Real F.C 4 – DFC 1 (ht: 1-0)

This young side has been unfortunate with players’ availability so far this season, due to illnesses, injuries, school demands and others. Starting with a bare ‘eleven’, this team did well to contain the Home side with their ‘fourteen’ fully - fit players rotating throughout the game. Despite this, the score line seems unjust, considering the young Darts’ pressure on the Villacourt’s goal, including hitting the bar and goal line clearances, especially up hill in the second half.

On to the next game to try and pick up the first points. With a stable side, this should only be a matter of time.

Come on you Darts!

Result from SELKENT ‘B’ League, u – 12’s (Sunday, 19/10/08):

DFC won by ‘walk over’. No show from Hillyfielders.F.C of Lewisham.

The League should therefore confirm the young Darts’ first 3 points of the season.

Let’s hope this kickstarts their season.

Come on you Darts!

Result from SELKENT u - 12's league, Sunday, 02/11/08.

DFC 2 - Petts Woods Hawks 4 (ht: 2-0)

The young Darts registered another defeat, after a very good first half performance uphill, scoring twice.

Unfortunately, home heads began to drop after the high - flying visitors started a comeback with a twice - taken penalty.

SELKENT u-12, League Result for Sunday, 09/11/08:
Phoenix Sports 6 - DFC 2 (ht: 2-2)

Yet again after a good display by the young Darts, it was anybody's game until the last few minutes, when the score line was deflating to the improving squad. They'll work hard to put things right.

DFC u -12’s Result from the Cup game v Phoenix Sports, Sunday 16/11/08:

DFC   0 – Phoenix Sports   4   (ht: 0 – 1)

The young Darts will hopefully have used this game to soon put things right in the league.

They’ve also started to work harder with a second weekly training session.

SELKENT league u – 12 Result, Sunday, 23/11/08:

Beacons Reds 4 – DFC 2 (ht: 0-0)

After an evenly – matched first half, regrettably, the mini Darts had another temporary lapse to lose it again late on. However, having drawn level at one all, it was anybody’s game especially on an increasingly boggy pitch; following the first half wet snow & rain. A special ‘well done’ to Harry, who scored a debut brace.

SELKENT League u – 12 ’B’ Result, Sunday 07/12/08:

DFC 4 – Villacourt Rovers Yellow 0 (HT: 1 – 0)

Despite not having a fully - fit squad available due to ‘Winter Ailments’, the hard - working young Darts have now moved off the bottom of the table. This positive display in muddy conditions at their Leigh Academy Home delighted everyone concerned, none the least, their patient and dedicated coaches.

Up the Darts!

SELKENT League, Sunday, 14/12/08:

The game at Top of the Table, Springfield F.C was called off due to the pitch being unfit after prolonged rain.

The next match will now be played in the New Year.

Best Wishes for a Merry Xmas and a Happy 2009 to everyone concerned, from the u – 12 squad and coaches.
