Selkent League u - 12 'B'  result, Sunday, 18/01/09:

Springfield FC 8 - DFC 3 (ht: 3-1).

After the enforced weather - affected break, the mini Darts had a game at last, at top of the table Hextable side.
Conceding two early goals made life very difficult for the rest of the match. Springfield's own referee also seemed to be one - sided on numerous occasions, even overulling ciritical Linesman's decisions, like offside goals etc...
Still, no sour grapes after a battling performance, with three goals to testify it. They were from Nick, Tyler (penalty) and Liam How's first Darts' strike from some distance.
On to the next...

SELKENT ‘B’ u-12 League, Sunday, 01/02/09:

The match at Petts Wood Hawks was called off on site, after the two team coaches rightly agreed that it was too dangerous to risk and play on a frozen solid pitch.

SELKENT u-12 'B' result from Sunday, 15/02/09:

Dartford F.C  0 - Petts Wood Eagles 5 (HT:0-3)

Due to illnesses & unavailability, only ten brave lads fought well for most of the first half and finished with a bare eleven, against high - flying opponents.

SELKENT u12 ‘B’ league result, Sunday, 22/02/09:

Hillyfielders 6 – DFC 1 (ht: 3 – 0)

The eleven available players played in patches, hitting the woodwork at least twice. However, the home side was stronger going forward. Hence, another heavy scoreline.

The squad will work as hard to try and move up the table.

SELKENT u – 12 result – Sunday, 08/03/09:
Teviot Rangers JFC 3 – DFC 3 (ht: 1-1)
In a challenging game, the young Darts fought back well with a goal from Robbie, after going behind. They led for quite a while after the break, only to concede two quick goals. However, a battling spirit earned them a well deserved point in the end, through Nick’s second goal.

On to a vital home encounter v Darenth Reds at the L.T.A home ground next Sunday morning.

SELKENT u – 12 result – Sunday, 15/03/09:
Darts 8 – Darenth Rangers Reds 0 (ht: 1 – 0)

After some improved performances lately, the mini – Darts approached this lower table clash in a positive mood. With a full squad available, everyone contributed to a magnificent display, with a potent firepower unleashed at last. Goals from Robbie, Connor (Hatrick), Jake (Brace), Nick and Harry. Another Home game next, with hopefully the same winning spirit!

SELKENT u-12 League Result – Sunday, 22/03/09:

DFC 4 – Teviot Rangers F.C 4 (ht: 1-3)

Sharing six goals at Teviot two weeks ago, to-day these two sides played an even better thriller at the L.T.Academy and split eight goals this time. The young Darts scored through Billy and a second Connor Hatrick in a row. Another great comeback with a fighting point earned towards the battle to stay up. 3 games (Away) left and the lads are up for it! Come On You Darts!

SELKENT u-12 'B' League Result - Sunday, 29/03/09:

Petts Wood Eagles 6 - DFC 2 (Ht: 2-2).

The young Darts lost to a strong side, after a run of four games, undefeated. Goals from Lee and Connor levelled it from two down, before the break. However, the second - placed home team capitalised, following injuries to two DFC defenders. They'll fight on!

SELKENT u - 12 'B' result, Sunday,05/04/09:

Petts Wood Hawks 1 - DFC 1 (ht: 0 - 0)

The lads went into this difficult game with a bare eleven, due to illnesses and unavailability.
Despite this, they showed great resilience with Captain Harry scoring first. However, an unfortunate deflection denied the hard - working Darts a deserved win, with only a few seconds left on the clock. This point may still prove to be useful in the battle to stay up, ahead of the ultimate league match on 19th April, Away at Beacons White. Come on you Darts!

SELKENT u - 12 'B' league. Result, Sunday 19/04/09:

Beacons White 3 - DFC 1 (ht: 1-0)

The young Darts went behind from a late 1st half penalty, after missing a hatful of chances. Alfie scored a late one as a 'thank you' to retiring long - serving coach, Alan Silvester. All the lads are thankful to Alan for his dedication and guidance over the past seasons.
If Darenth Reds do not win their last game in the next fortnight or so, DFC will stay above them, out of the bottom two. It also looks highly likely that due to the league review, this DFC side will remain at 'B' level, as u - 13's next season.
Up you Darts!
