At last, a "home" game for me !! Looking forward to a big turn out of Darts fans for this one. Sounds like this place should be in Ireland ??!!

Or Massachusetts

I could record some real filth onto CD, send it to Billy Riccay and get it played over the loud speaker system.  xwhis

Constructive criticism?? Don't get it. If it's still criticism, how is it constructive?

Terry and anyone else hoping to travel between Lewisham and Stratford on Saturday, there is no direct DLR link due to engineering works. There is a replacement bus service from Canary Wharf to Stratford.

There's also a replacement bus service on the Jubilee line between North Greenwich and Stratford. So going via London Bridge is out of the question.

Great co-ordination by the Transport Authorities as usual !!!

Three rail replacement bus services operate:

It looks as though we may have a selection problem, with Rob Haworth doubtful after an accident on the way to training.

with rob haworth [ possibly] out it will be interesting to see if tony plays 4-5-1 which will then accomodate jamie day [in midfield]  or will stick with 4-4-2 with ray powell moving up front with cassie  allowing flanners back and coyley moving to right back

the recent very good [ on the ground ] football  , playing through the midfield and  two wingers could mean that cassie could play on his own up front ???????????/

we will see ??????????

I hope I'm wrong, but on the evidence of our first 3 games, I think we are going to struggle up front if Rob isn't playing. Until his arrival in the team we just didn't look like scoring and in fact, didn't!

Rob may not be our BEST player, I doubt he will be our best goalscorer, but he is VERY strong, very effective at holding the ball up and winning headers and flick-ons, and is a perfect partner for Cassie. More importantly, he is the only player of this type that we have.

I think we have already proven that we can get away with playing one up front if Rob is the one, but (as good a goalscorer as he is) it doesn't work with Cassie. I know we can play someone else up there with him but I don't think we have the right personnel to make it work.

I'm not saying that we can't win tomorrow as our recent improvement in form suggests we can beat anyone in this division on our day. It's just that on the evidence that I've seen so far, it will be a lot harder without Rob. His role would seem to be the one position that we have absolutely no cover for. Here's hoping he makes a speedy recovery.
