Very flat & uninspired performance. I went with a lot of optimism aided by the weather but everyone was let down.
And can the powers that be print more programmes? That's a few times this season i've be unable to buy one.

Went away form todys game really dissapointed - i thought we had turned the corner and we were starting to look like a team that could challenge for play offs this year. Todays game was easliy a "should" win game.

The game was there for the taking (reminded me of the Hampton game) we again gave the oppo something to defend and they did. (Like us last week)

We need a bit more creativity - to break teams down -

Roll on Harlow a game we can win.

Sometimes you have to give credit to the opposition and today was one of those occasions. We were a very poor second and Margate deservedly took all 3 points. They defended very well and looked good on the counter. Unfortunately there were too many poor performances all over the pitch from us today and as the season goes on it’s beginning to come clear that some of our present team are not up to this level. The question is “when do you start to make changes”?

Keep the faith.

I disagree.I think the Darts have played good football mostly this season and look quite capable of finishing mid-table.But today? We were a poor second to a poor side.No credit to Margate, instead big minuses to the Darts who looked jetlagged from the off.Even lee noble appeared to be strangely dissinterested for most of the game.A terrible performance by a good team.Just a glitch.don't panic. :-)

I have to agree that a)We were poor today and b) Margate weren't much better. They had nothing to answer.

I also can not find it within myself to name a MOTM. We looked a team completely void of ideas.

What makes it so much more frustrating is we know that we have the players capable to compete in this league, and today we couldn't compete with the cub scouts.

There is only one way to react to this performance and I hope that is done against Harlow next week. If not a little more than self examination may be required because today was TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

I also will not be voting for MOTM as i felt that none of them deserved it.

We was not POOR we was very POOR, some of the team need ask them selves if they want to be at the club because performances like that will not win anything.

Butters looks tired and needs to keep the bench worm for a while, he runs and runs at the defence and does not pass the ball, reminds me of Phil Williams a very intresting player but does not unload the ball for a pass.

Ryno is more interesting he does get passes over, Tony said we wasen't in the game today and i totally agree.

Credit where credit is due the Darts have been playing well over the last few weeks, unfortunately we seem to have the ability to give 3 points to every team that appears to be in for a relegation battle. How many of the bottom 6 have picked up wins against us?

Just hope when the season unfolds we do not regret all these dropped points.

Keeping the faith but today was hard to take!

It sounds as if it was a good day for a Dartford fan to be in Lincoln!!

I listened to the live commentary and Gary's comments on the Margate website and the visitors did seem to deserve their win. The commentary didn't quite prepare me for just how badly we seem to have played, judging by the posts here.

Once again we have seen that there are no easy games in this division. We will not pick up points, as we sometimes did last year, when we are so far below our best.

well worst team performance this season for me, hopefully just one of them games, to many players not on there game, against a poor team to be fair, but a bit like the cup game got a goal and defended well so must give credit to margate, still confident we will be mid table come the end of the season, and then push on next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  having said all this i was really disapointed to here a lot of fans screaming at individual players first and second half, this negative crap does not help the team at all, hopefully most of these tw--s dont go very often, if you are real fans you should get behind every team that tb puts out  xbop  f---ing idiots  xshrug  up the darts  xtip

i hope that the margate fans who read our messageboard are amused at certain attempts to make them out to be a poor side as the majority of dart fans saw today that they were quicker , hungrier and appeared to want it more than us and in fact with a bit of luck they could have had 4 more goals , we had our 1st real effort on goal after 80 minutes

IF i was a margate fan i would be pretty pleased tonight but as a dart fan I am NOT !!!!!!!!!!!!

did anyone else notice that paul smith , their [ fat] no 5 [ ex gills] strutted around the centre circle , controlled the game by using his brain , amazing isnt it !!!!!!!!!!!

So we lost today and deserved to we were poor everyone had an off day in the worst performance of the season so far,but we had performances like this last season so lets draw a line under the game and move on.We all know that the game of football we watch every week is like a roller coaster ride ups and downs all the way but if we learn from our  mistakes we will turn into a better team.UP THE DARTS

Not much to say about the worst performance in years from a Dartford side.

I wonder how many players collected their pay packet today? Duke you are spot on about the floaters - especially with the credit crunch as well. As a regular I will be there next week but I left wondering what I had paid a tenner for.

I agree we can all have a bad day but there is NO excuse for a lack of work rate especially as we did not play midweek. Even off form players can chase a man down and apply pressure.

I did vote for MOM and I gave it to Danny Dafter - to my mind the only bloke on the park who tried for ninety minutes.

Anyone know how many yellow cards Lee Noble has - to my mind another silly one today. I think the lad has been outstanding for us but I can think of two yellows for kicking the ball away and one today that could have been avoided.

Onwards and upwards ......... another game saturday.

We got what we deserved today, and that was nothing. I thought it was the worst performance at home this season as we created very little in front of goal.
Have to agree with the comments Duke made, bit of a poor show taking the mick out of Margate before a ball was kicked! Funny how it comes back to bite you, and didn't their keeper have a good game!
Lee noble again our best player on the day in my book.
Well done to the margate fans who sang non stop in support of their team. And i must say the new Dartford flag looked quality, a big laugh ran round at the half way line just prior to kick off as the bloke had just set the flag up nicely only for the teams to change ends and he had to take it down again. :-D Once again great flag and well done to those involved.
