If you want to get in, yes.

We need to be a little bit more positive for this encounter. I’d be tempted to leave Jamie Day on the bench and play with 2 natural wingers in Ryan and Butterworth. Is it me or has Jamie been a little bit disappointing taking into account his pedigree? I know he adds steel to the left side but he has not yet shown enough going forward for my liking.

My main concern is our lack of goals from our strikers. I know Rob is not an out and out goal scorer but he has been our most prominent forward this season so this has in turn put more pressure on Cass to come up with the goods which season to date has failed to deliver. Therefore if he has another quiet game I would like to have a look at James Taylor.

Whatever team is fielded I will be there as per usual giving the team encouragement in reaching the next round.

Bring it on.

This is the First Qualifying Round. There has already been a Preliminary Round. There are seven more rounds before the final.

tonys problem is a bit like capello s with gerard and lampard as does he pick the best 11 players or the best system ??????????????/

IF its the best 11 players then dafter , noble and day should all play in the midfield but that means in a  [ 4-4-2] that noble or day has to play wide left - not ideal and has no  natural left side balance !!!!!!!!!

IF we play a straight 4-4-2 with 2 wide men then its ryno and butters with 1 of the 3 afforementioned left on the bench !!!!!!!!!!!

i am a 4 - 4 - 2 fan but i am concerned that cassies lack of the extra half yard of pace is restricting him and just maybe 4-5-1 is the best way forward with ryno told to forget about defending and start scoring goals

maybe [ on current form ]  ??????????

             young

powell   guest   coyle  osborne

butters  noble dafter day ryno

               haworth

should set the cat amongst the pigeons ????????????????///

We need a natural goalscorer playing for Dartford, someone create chances for Cassie and he will score, look at his record, suggest look elsewhere for scapegoats.

Its about belief and confidence, it wasn't there against Margit!

Are we not over-reacting to some extent to one admittedly not good performance and an FA Cup defeat to a team going well in a higher league?

I have felt sorry for Cass a number of times this season when we have started to sling high balls in his general direction when he is marked by tall defenders. Surely we cannot question his goalscoring record since he came to us but in order to maintain that momentum he has to be given better service than he has received at times  recently.

I was thrilled when we signed Brendon Cass and I want him in our team, hopefully for a long time to come.

Dukey I still love you to bits even though you have doubted the Messiah.

Stoat, don't worry about The Duke's team selections.  If he was our manager we'd have Ryno, Cass and Flanners warming the bench with Mark Green at left back and Ozzy as a striker!

He means well though!

tony - your post is a just the kind of [ positive] post that this message board encourages in response to a post [ mine in this case] hat you do NOT agree with .TLDs profollows his usual trend of attempting  to be sarky but never actually getting off the fence !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no wonder that several [ newer] more sensitive posters dont bother any more ??????????????????
