Sorry if it's been asked before. Why is music no longer played at half-time? Last night felt very bleak without it.
I don't think it was the lack of music that made half-time bleak last night!

Got to agree with Gilesy the idiots that booed at half time might as well stay at home and shout at their TV to have their professional team's manager sacked for losing 2 games in a row. You don't understand football so stay away from it.

We played well in the final third in the first half and at 2-0 down I was confident we could get back into it. When the 3rd went in, I lost this confidence. As soon as the second half started, the confidence came back. This was 25 minutes of vintage Dartford attacking football. Corner, followed corner, desperate clearance followed desperate clearance and we hit the bar and good old Dale Brightly went on a couple of his trademark walkabouts.

Sadly the come back was celebrated by taunting the opposition '3 nil and you mucked? it up' when a 'we're proud of you' or something supporting our team would have been more appropriate. But nevermind, the ex-premiership fans make up the majority of our following these days and they get caught up more in the opposition than in one of our own greatest moments of the season to date.

These types of games can really turn round a season and maybe we will look back come the end of April and remember that cold night in October when the Dartford boys dug in, kept it going, kept believing and snatched respectability of a creditable draw from the mouth of an embarrassing defeat.

I never boo the Darts myself, I don't believe it is helpful and on this occasion I don't even believe that it was justified. I prefer instead to shout encouragement and try to lift the players within earshot in the hope that things improve. I do feel however, that people have a perfect right to boo their hearts out if they feel so inclined.

Shouting abuse at or even the constant barracking of individual players is a different thing which I believe is never acceptable, especially YOUR OWN players. Rascist abuse is never acceptable. Osbscene chanting is never acceptable .... but surely booing is a perfectly valid way for ill-informed, uneducated, simpletons to express how they feel. How else could people like me, let people like David Bentley know how we feel about someone who is "too tired" to play for his country?

I think Spike that 'booing' has to be put into context. On Tuesday night how we were 0-3 down at H/T I will never know as we had created 3 good chances ourselves! I also felt that we were not out of the game at H/T (im not going to say we were going to comeback and draw 3-3 that is for sure!)

Also I was very very impressed with how the front 2 of Hornchurch played and the goals they scored so all in all at H/T despite being 3 down I had seen an excellent entertaining half of football with some good goals and some superb attacking play from both teams and felt Darts were still not out of it if we scored early doors 2nd half!

....I aint gonna boo that!!

Add to the fact that the team has really kicked on this month and put in some excellent performances (I know particularly away from PP) the boys did not deserve any booing on this occasion!!!

If you read what I wrote again you will see that I wasn't in agreement with the booing, I was just defending the RIGHT to boo should people feel so inclined. As long as people behave themselves, I believe they have a right to express their views even if I don't personally agree with them

My personal view of the game was very similar to yours. I still held out some hope at half-time because I think we have some excellent players and I think we have lots of goals in us (at both ends unfortunately). I was enjoying the game if not the score and the thought of booing off my own team never entered my head.

In my opinion, people like us who are close to the club, travel to all the away games and have seen us rise from the ashes, are best placed to understand how well things are going and are better able to appreciate that we are heading in the right direction.

To play Devil's advocate though, I can well understand why others who do not have the benefit of this experience and have not witnessed the excellent away performances may see things differently. They may be misinformed, but they are not necessarily idiots.

Back after two days at head office and what game we saw on Tuesday, Halloween came early in the first half as we saw the defence have several rocky horror moments and despite the midfield and forwards playing fairly well we ended up 0-3.

Talk about a Jekyll & Hyde game as despite Skip not apparently shouting at the players, I think he must have dispensed the right elixir to change the character of the players at half time, probably slipping it in the tea.

Second half never mind Halloween, it was more like Guy Fawkes night, with three goals banged home to equalize and the only celebrations lacking in the crowd, were the launching of fireworks, as the cheers and noise filled the stadium.

A great fightback and a well earned point to set us up for Saturday and let's hope for a big crowd after tonights excellent entertainment.

My M.O.M. went to Cody which now sees him a couple of points ahead of Jamie, but either of these two deserve the accolade.
