The best team easily won ,we were not in it in the 2nd half,it's been a while since I 've heard the dreaded "can we play you every week".
,but we were totally outplayed after half time

WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE??????

We can only hope that TB can get the heads up and we can get some sort of result at St Albans. It's stating the obvious but the last thing we need is another hiding.

I will not criticise individuals but we cannot defend at the moment ,we were lucky to get away with 4 last night. What has happened to the team who had such good results at Maidstone, Tooting, Billericay and Harlow????   :x :x :x

tonbridge did play well second half tuesday night, must give them credit for that , with a fair bit of help from the linesman  :?  as for the ground, bar had a good choice of beers, building a bit shabby thou, portacabins nailed together to be honest, if you stood behind both goals not bad , but i like to stand around halfway, you couldnt, the stand they have put seats in was far better when a terrace, so in my opinion a good team, another average ground. up the darts  xtip

I have deliberately not read the posts on this game as I was depressed enough after watching the game.

Again boo boys at the end but from what I saw they were little boys so at least their behaviour has an alibi.

When we had a team not so many years back that was made of youth teamers and misfits, it was easy to sing when we're losing. It was basically a celebration we even had a team to follow and we just enjoyed ourselves win lose or draw. Nowadays, things are very different and there is rightfully an expectation for a minimum standard of performance. It is very hard to get behind the team when you see a perfectly capable bunch playing so poorly.

The positive is TB in his notes has been very honest about it and has not started blaming the ref or the weather or the pitch or anything other than himself and the team. It is like the alcoholic admitting he has a problem - now the problem can be dealt with.

Let's do what us fans do best, get behind the team and support them. As Stereophonics once sang 'it only takes one tree to make a thousand matches, it only takes one match to burn a thousand trees'  Is it time for my medication doctor...?

Good post Martin C, I agree that we do have the tools to do the job and we could have gone in front in the 1st half  ,but as I have already said we were outgunned in the 2nd half and the rest is now history

Tony's notes are a good response toTuesday evening  and we do have a tough game at St Albans but the pressure is off because we are the underdogs and we are away ,so lets roll our sleeves up and have a go because if their scouts were watching the 2nd half at Tonbridge, they might just be a little over-confident on Saturday.COYDss
