I was very keen to watch Sonytino's highlights as i couldn't make the game and also to view the incident around their number 3.

In the ref's defence if you watch him i don't even think he saw the incident and booked them both for the coming together after.

However the actual incident itself was very unsavoury, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that it was intentional and the number three knew exactly what he was doing. You only have to watch the way he changes his stride to deliberately knee Lee in the face, nobody would run in that manner normally.  xshake xshake xshake xshake

On the attendance front, even with all the conference N & S clubs involved AND the 'doctored' figures produced by St Albans, we still managed the 3rd highest crowd of the round, beaten only by the 2 all-conference games Kings Lynn v Stafford Rangers 748 and Worcester v AFC Wimbledon 895 According the the venerable Tony Kempster  xbow xbow xbow xbow
Even Welling only managed 309!

Suprisingly low gates, but don't all the FA competition matches have the gate receipts split 50/50 (after expenses) between the home and away clubs?  In which case I'm sure there won't be more than 500 at Princes park for tonight's replay.  xwhis

I think the No.3 was the Lino's son.

Considering the lino didn't "have the minerals" to award several decisions on Saturday I would have though he was anatomically unable to perform the necessary task! xshrug

Shame people seem so unimpressed with Gross...  didn't he save us from going down in Rugby land by clearing the ball from the line? saved us by inches?!  ...but then what would I know?! 8-)

TG I think you may have your wires crossed.

Gross had a fine debut for us and looks more than useful after just 1 appearance. We are blitzing their left back who had a 'little' run in, please excuse the pun!, with Lee Noble and may get a warmer reception than most at PP although to be fair everyone shook hands at the end of the game and the incidents seemed to have been forgotten!

Love the comment from Coney "Definite handball, but scoring a penalty then would have probably seen us lose." I just regret shouting at the linesman now and can't decide if i should bother going Tuesday just in case we score first.Good God !!

What xshrug how many times do we seem to score against better opposition, to then fall apart when they realise they need to play better.
Don't get me started on our ability to hold onto a lead and waste time, run it in a corner etc :-D

So the answer is: Don't score when playing against better opposition ?

No , don't score first??????
just come from behind with the last kick of the ball

Constructive criticism?? Don't get it. If it's still criticism, how is it constructive?
