So much for him being twice as good as good as Cass and Powell on his day. Having said that i thought he was a decent player. Would have made the squad at the start of the season but now, i dont think so. Best of luck to him though as he was a part of the swift passing maneouver that led to the greatest and perhaps one of the most important goals i have seen as a Dartford supporter, the OB equaliser against Potters Bar. Good times  xnod xnod xnod

yes alex OB only darts goal was the most important of last season and will live long in my memory.

For those with a much longer memory i recently found that my favourite ever Dartford player Tommy Henderson is still putting on his boots for a veteran Hartlepool team in the North East. They have a couple of 60 year olds playing so he can probably outpace some one in the team. xbow xbow

I agree Jack why buy a Tom Tom, when Jeremy should be devoloping into his world domination plan (don't deny it Jeremy I know under that scruffy exterior you got a plan) by implementing the procedure of installing a PP homing device into all new babies born at Darent Valley. These could be triggered off at a given point in their life, thus forcing their parents to take them to PP for every game.

Anyway back to the forum topic before Gary moans, what ever happened to Gary Carter???????????? I know he went on to Whistable but what happened next? He will always be remembered by me as he cost me a few beers. He being a Yid fan I had a bet with him one season that Arsenal would beat them (sorry can't bring myself to type the full name). Robbie Keane cheated and scored the equaliser when it should have been kicked out. After watching that I got back to Stonebridge Road for the Second half of Darts and Harlow (in the SL1E) and saw the Teddy Ansell screamer, where is he now??? Anyway back to Gary, I bumped into himat the game who reminded me I owned him some beer as I gave him the draw as well!!!!!

Also, I hear Steve Hafner is taking a break from football after leaving Chatham earlier this season.

Jeremy I know under that scruffy exterior you got a plan

Not too long ago, I turned up at an event attended by Kent's great and the good and told the guy at the door that i was from Dartford.  He directed me into the kitchen and said "we've arranged some sandwiches for you and all the other drivers. I'll let Councillor Kite know you are here."

To make it worse, it was one of the days when I HAD made an effort.

Back to the thread, would be quite interesting to know what's happened to the homecoming squad of 11/11/06.
If I am right, I make it that only Brendon and Tommy are with us.... and Tony of course.
