I would love to see us take the game to them on the deck tomorrow.  On Saturday, whenever we pressed up they were happy to foul, if necessary, on the half-way line.  This invited the long high ball towards the box which suited 5 & 6 nicely.  My guess is that they will not be keen to face pace on the deck.  Go for it Darts.

Come on you DARTS!

I see we are now just 2/1 to win this tie:

11/10 The Saints

2/1 The Darts

5/2 The Draw

I don't know whether it's the cynical in me, or the pessimistic side but 11/10 seems good value for St Albans.

Funny enough that should have been how the teams finished on saturday with st albans down to 10 men. :-D

I was having a chat with their no.3 in the bar after the match! He remarked on how much stick he got from the Darts fans after the challenge with Lee Noble, apparently him and Lee were joking about it for the rest of the match such was the banter they were having.
He seemed a nice lad in truth, he expects to get some stick tonight  :-D and he did say he was looking forward to playing at PP as he had heard such good reports about the ground.

The stick will either fire him up or put him off, lets hope its the latter. :-D If we can get behind the two center halfs tonight i think Cody can catch them out a time or two. We must play the ball on the deck as much as we can as those two will win most balls in the air.

Fast start required tonight lads. Lets give nothing away, hassle them in midfield and get their centre halbes turning early on! Lets also make the most of any free kicks that come our way!!!

No doubt about it we can win this tonight!!!!

i dont believe we have seen anything like rynos best so far this season BUT i sort of feel that we need to do something a bit different to saturday as we probably played as well as we could and they probably not as well  , so we need to suprise them tonight

play ryno out wide right , get him taking on the full back [no3] and cut the crosses in , NOT floaters as their two big [ ugly ] centre backs will head them away all night !!!!!!!!!!!

worth the gamble  , IF after 45 minutes it aint working then try something else , nothing to lose , its positive and it the cup and we might as well go out with a bang rather than a
[ creditable] 1-0 loss ????????????

I agree, Duke, at least on the going out with a bang. I've said it before - I'd rather go out losing 3-0 and giving a match a go than lose 1-0 and never really push on.

The rewards are big if we get through today - I believe we can do it. I have faith in the team.

There should be live text tonight - there's also a chance for Kent based Darts to listen to live commentary of the match with myself and Mike Green on 774AM with BBC Radio Kent.

Like others have said already - when attacking, please can we play the ball on the ground and try lots of through balls ; the pace of ryano (hopefully), Noble and Cody will be just too much for them two oafs they call centre-backs. Don't keep hoofing it up top to Rob, as they will win the ball back 80% of the time!

As it says in the bar : "If football was supposed to be played in the air, God would have put grass in the sky".. or something like that  :-D
