Keep those votes coming in for M.O.M. and Tommy O. he's got the most votes of the players who haven't won one and yes he's ahead for this game and thoroughly deserved.

Playing in his best position in the middle as a sweeper he did I'm sure help instill confidence in Sean who had an excellent game and when needed helped Adam out, which wasn't too often.

As for the game in general a good workman like effort from the players and it had all the appearances of a ground out 1-0 win until the two goals that came later on to relieve the pressure, although to be fair we didn't look like slipping up and they certainly didn't look like scoring.

Goal machine Cody created the first out of nothing and the second was a goal sniffer's reaction to toe the ball in from amongst a crowd of players, our second goal I'm not sure if it was given to Ryno, but he deserved it.

The pitch held up reasonable well except for the boggy goalmouth end which is worrying as in the first half Andy was struggling to bounce the ball from drop kicks, then we have a groundsman come out and stamp a few mounds of mud back and fork a few puddles, only for the bench players to use the goal for practice during the break.

Daffy did well to restrain himself once he had picked up the booking and just did enough going through the motions to avoid the referee's wrath and a second yellow.(A referee who seemed intent on having a go at Daffy for no apparent reason other than he was hard into the tackle and won the ball fairly)

Three good points and the right result in front of a very reasonable crowd, as the attendance of around 900 was good when you consider the weather and Xmas shopping factors.

Wasn't a pretty game by any means but a fantastic result especially with the heavy pitch coming after the St Albans heartbreaker in midweek!

Cody was the difference between the 2 sides. Put him in Borehamwoods side and they would have won the game in my opinion! They probably shaded possession but did nothing with it!

Special mention for Tommy O. Very comfortable in the centre of defence but also Jamie C is defending very well (positional wise and winning headers) although his distribution is woeful at times! Be interesting when Guesty and Flan are 100% who plays where Tommy has given TB a nice headache! Also fair play to Ryan!

Another win next week please!!!

Well said dartwolf,
We all want the Team to do well, so just get behind the players, the Dartford crowd is excellent apart from a very smalll minority, the players themselves know when they have messed up and yelling abuse dosn't help the confidence which dosn't help the Team.

i agree with most of the posts. I thought that we did make it hard for ourselves against a struggling team, regarding Lee Noble,he was everywhere and had a good game but some nerdy moaner behind me was shouting "get in there Noble" and "useless"  after Lee had been booked and was risking a dismissal, honestly I do wonder where some of these idiots are coming from, give constructive criticism if you have to moan, not just whinging  and cursing for the sake of it. Lee is a 100% player and a great prospect ,I hope he realises that 98% of Darts fans love him ,the same applies to Ryno, yes ,he can be frustrating but if you want a rabbit pulled out of the hat then Ryno is the man,but again on the wooden man side there are 1 or 2 Twats who are on his back right from the kick off. My message to every one of our players is ---forget the odd twat and remember the vast majority are right behind you.I have no message for the twats as it would be a complete waste of time,I know they pay their money and are entitled to their veiw, but Negativity is about as much use as a chocolate teapot.

My mom -Ossy,super game followed by the rest of the team and well done young Sean, you did not let yourself or the club down. COYDssss

i think you will find that cody would be the first to acknowledge the benefits of playing alongside a proven class striker like rob haworth

rob is our " unsung hero " and great to have in the team
