Oh dear. Rob Haworth gets through on goal, and he takes a swing at the ball... and the ball doesn't move but Rob finds himself on the floor. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.

GOAL! Hayes skips past a defender, and curls one into the far corner with his left peg. 3-1!

PS: He keeps his shirt on tonight - don't blame him

Happy about the goal but the Haworth situation is a bit worrying. I have to say that while a win tonight would be great, this competition just does'nt do it for me and with the exception of the Redbridge fixture, it seems about as meaningless a match as possibleto pick up injuries.
Still, now we're in front, let's have a couple more.

I was never happy at school. This one time the headmaster called me into his office. I was terrified. My friend jimmy went to his office and he could'nt sit down for a week, so I'm thinking please, please don't let him find me sexually attractive.

I'm still a bit perplexed as to why we havent started Cass for this one, especially as he's been getting very limited playing time.

The Margate keeper won't want to see that on the replays. He tries to dribble the ball out but blasts it against Rob Haworth. The ball flashes just past the post.

We are in a cup we can win !

Agreed it should not be number one priority - eggs in the basket and all that - but Ramsgate won it and made the playoffs last year. Who knows with a decent draw, and the right publiicty we could generate a few decent crowds in the next few rounds ! if we get through.

Did we not win the Westgate trophy year after year in the Taylor years.

Lets try and keep the winning mentality !

Goal: Margate grab a goal, the ball ping-pongs around the penalty area and flashes past Andy Young.

Surely the club learn that a price reduction is needed to attract good crowds for these cup games
