Is it coincidence that when Ryan plays well the team plays well. For me he would be the first name on the team sheet, and now Sean has broken into the team they have established a great understanding on that side of the pitch.

Providing everyone is fit I would go for:

                                    Young

          Sean           Coyle          McDevitt        Gross

          Ryan           Noble/White    Dafter      Day

                          Haworth      McDonald

Still not convinced about Noble in the middle, looks very lightweight, loses possession too easily and he needs to sort out his distribution.  Not quite sure where he can actually fit in well, saying that when he runs with the ball he looks great. Probably fits in best playing behind the front two in a free role.

Looking forward to this one, just hope the weather holds up.

My previous statement about Jamie Day was based entirely on the comment in Tony's notes today that he is " very doubtful."  Presumably this was after seeing him at training.

bit hard on ossie to leave him out after last week , i agree with sean [ who is a natural] at full back BUT have NOT been initially impressed with mcdevitt [ good with the ball but a bit lightweight] so maybe ossie at centre back [ where he was motm last week]

noble at times flatters to deceive and needs to work on his final ball and finishing BUT hey ,  still a very good [ future] prospect !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ossie is Dartford F C, he's got it tattooed on his a... Forehead. The way he's been playing this season he would be second on the team sheet, after Dan.

Afternoon all - today's live text might not be quite so in depth as the last few home games, because Tony Jaglo and myself are going to be trying to do a commentary on the game, starting at around 2.45pm today:

We'll still try to keep this up to date as well.

There is about a 10/15 second delay but I have just cordially greeted you.
