23rd December 2008 Notes
« on: December 23, 2008, 12:08:27 PM »

The result last Saturday against Carshalton was an excellent team
performance. I felt the work rate from all the players in a new formation
meant they deserved the three points from the match

We have completed the first half of the season and I can say it has been a
very good learning curb for all of us.We have played against some good sides
with some good players, which has made the games so much more interesting to
participate in.
I for one have really enjoyed the season so far even though our points tally
is below what I was expecting at this stage of the season.

I am looking forward to the second half of the season to try and improve on
one or two things and take a lot of the positives from the games we have
played and put it into more consistent performances in the future.

The players are  training tonight the last session before Saturdays game
against Canvey. For the game we will still be without Danny Dafter and James
White, but now also added to the missing list will be Adam Gross who starts a
two match ban.
We are thin on the ground at the moment but we will just have to get on with
it and do our best.

I hope you all have a very good Christmas and feel the need to get out on
Saturday for a few hours to support the team in another difficult away game

Thanks for your support
