Hastings (A) OFF
« on: January 04, 2009, 12:48:49 PM »

Well our first game of 2009, with 2008 ending on a high note with 5 wins out of 6 in December (includes the League Cup win) hopefully we can continue this great run of form.

The game should be pretty open, although tough, neither likes to play for the draw, with both teams managing 4 draws out of 46 games suggests this.

Looking forward to it COYD let's start the year with 3 pts.

Whilst typing this I've had a couple of e-mails and a text which means by 11.45 on a Sunday Morning the Double Decker coach is FULL  xbow xbow xbow

Hastings didnt look that good yesterday when they played maidstone. Both sides were very poor and a ref being accessed.

It's not about the long ball or the short ball it's about the right ball!

As the coach is fully booked already, which is quite an achievement considering there is still a week before the match, I need to find another way of getting to Hastings. Does anyone know how we can get there by train, as I tried to work out a route but got confused  :| (Don't use the trains often)

Thanks in advance  :-)

Good to see that there are lots coming to the game next Saturday. Hopefully the weather will be a bit warmer.

Honours even after the two games so far this season between us. Should be a good game and good to see you checked up on us yesterday!!

I'm programme editor at Hastings and wondered if there is a supporter that would like to write an article from a Dartford perspective to do with your Club. I need about 450 words to fill one programme page and I'd need it by Thursday 8th 7pm. Jeremy did something the last time we met, maybe if he reads this he'd do it again unless someone else fancies it.

My email address is simonrudkins@hotmail.com and if there is anyone willing you can send something as a word document or as text in an email.

Thanks and look forward to seeing you at The Pilot Field on Saturday.
