Although the weather may play its part again for tomorrows game, I can tell you that the players have had two very good training sessions this week.Dare I say it we have a fully fit squad baring suspension to Lee Noble for tomorrows game. Our opponents tomorrow must be going through a similar position to us in regards to ground sharing .As we all know this takes alot of time for the club to adjust and get used to their new surroundings, let alone trying to find a training venue.Horsham have also suffered with injuries to key players this season, but like us are getting them players fit.I felt earlier on in the season when we met and won the game, we played very well on the day and I have no doubt that our opponents will want avenge that defeat.
Its a long journey down to Worthing ,but what a fantastic achievement it is for the club to be able to run two coaches for our supporter's and not to mention those who may be driving themselves! Well done this is much appreciated by all !!
On the player's front Adam Gross has settle his differences with Gray's and has signed for us on a permanent deal until the end of the season.
To keep you up to date on developments regarding Cody McDonald, in an interview with Gary and at the EGM, I did state that I would rather Cody didn't train for a week with a club because you do it for one and then everybody jumps on the band wagon. We have been very patient and waited until the right invite came along, also Cody himself wanted to experience training with a professional club. This will happen for a couple of days next week with a Championship League side. Cody is very much a DFC player and is very committed to the cause.
I really hope the game goes ahead tomorrow and we get the result that we all want.
Thanks for your support,
Tony.
