If we ever have the misfortune to have to return to Concord Rangers, I'm going to acclimatise myself to the conditions by not flushing the toilet and living in the bathroom for a week.

Indeed! It is possibly the only ground I have visited where rampant flatulence amongst members of the Choir was actually encouraged to help mask the smell of whatever it was that had died in the vicinity the previous week! xshake

Constructive criticism?? Don't get it. If it's still criticism, how is it constructive?

Enjoyed the evening , the match and the company, nice short trip through the tunnel and a good win.
Good to see a fairly strong side out from the start and Brendan getting a goal, but once the substitutions were made in the second half, what a change and only after a few minutes.

Two quick goals from Cody with Ryno playing him through with precision passes and the game was all but won, with just a late deserved consolation goal for Concord.

A nice set up at Concord compared to most of the other clubs in Ryman North, but I think Ronaldo's comment sums it up about the climate and smell.

What a disgusting stench!!! The air was thick with the smell of raw sewage, so bad at times that it made you want to throw up. How delightful it must be to spend a fortnight in one of those holiday caravans that are a few feet from the terraces! No wonder Concord get such small crowds.

As for the game, it wasn't very pretty and Concord had a lot of possession, but I never really felt threatened and in the end we ran out comfortable winners. Hard to pick a MOTM although Cody (2 great goals) and Ryno (2 great passes) both had a massive impact in their brief appearance late on in the game. However, surely neither were on long enough to be considered MOTM?

In the end I plumped for Jamie Day but I must admit, I was very surprised to see young Deren leading the MOTM. I think he's a decent prospect, but I thought he had a very wobbly game on Tuesday and I don't think it was one of his best games for us.

Still, a good result and I'm grateful we won't have to be going back to Stinksville for the foreseeable future.
