I would say there is 500 or less there tonight, never seen football played in such conditions since the short shorts and long hair in the 70's. I would think this one maybe abandoned before 90 mins. Thats it called off with Ebs leading 1-0 xnod xbop

Is the snow that bad up PP way? Out here in my neck of the woods we've had nothing worse than a dusting of sleety snow that has stopped now anyway. The weather forecast doesn't look too bad. I guess the main problem (if any) is whether the PP pitch will still be too soggy come Saturday. I know my back lawn and flowerbeds are a sea of mud at the moment. Fingers crossed, eh? xshrug

Really hope this one goes ahead.

Great game at their place early in the season with us winning one of the most one-sided games 1-0 without actually being the team on top.

This is the game that showed us what a great keeper Andy Young was through his many brilliant saves including a penalty and possibly the most biased ref that I've seen in ages, who happened to be on our side.

We are a far, far better team now than we were back then and I honestly think that we are due a big win soon. We are creating chances, our defence is now looking more and more organised and I get the feeling that we might just be onthe verge of opening up on someone big time.

Billericay was a great day out, good ground, clubhouse & a good but unexpected win at the time & it was about time we had the rub of the green and a ref that was on our side for a change!!

Fingers crossed that tomorrow is on, snow didn’t really settle in Greenhithe last night, so shouldn’t be a problem though I haven’t seen the pitch.  Had the water drained away from earlier in week??

Now that Cody has gone I’m a little bit worried there might be a lack of goals in the team, I would suggest playing Noble up front with Rob until we get the new strikers TB has been looking at, or have we already got them!!

Just been to the ground and the pitch is improving although there is still quite alot of standing water, if I was a betting man I would put money on the game being on

Good enough for me and the forecast looks reasonably settled so got to be a good chance, especially with the oppo being reasonably local so if pitch inspection required can it be as late as possible to give the pitch as much chance as possible!?!?!?

Assuming all fit and raring to go so Noble or Cass up front and hoping to see us play 3-5-2 with the wing backs pushed on rather than 5-3-2 with 5 out and out defenders especiially at home!

I have some pics of the ground taken about an hour ago. I will try and get them on either this thread or 180's site.
