I would say that is our team  :-D

it is quite a young team, jason being the old man, even im old in this team,

am i right in thinking Jack + DO are the school lads from DGS?

What bout jonny, how old r u?

still need to find out if we need permission from the club at all to represent them?

I like the sound of the team, shaping up rather nicely. And yes, me and D-O are DGS boys, but I am quite big for my age, and D-O has pace and skill, so we will be fine.
It would be great if the club could help us out in some way  :-D

Btw, if we are successful, then an official supporters team would definitely be worth while  :-D :-D :-D

All we may really need is a Dartford kit, think other than that we should be fine.

unless anyone can think of anything else.

Also we have to pay to enter as well its £35 per team so we will need £4.37 each, lets just say £4.50 each for ease, then depending on how we travel down there we may need to pay, minibus unless we drive but guessing its only me and jason that drive so may pay the extra for a minibus, plus we may get a few that want to come and watch as well to help break the cost down. what u boys think?

still need to find out if we need permission form the club to represent Dartford FC?????

It could be the start of a supporters team Jack you never know

Maybe the club could organise a tournament like this as well to bring in extra revenue for the club???????? big bar takings and could do food as well, BBQ etc, sure there would be enough people to help out for free. maybe somehting to think about

Would you like me to email the club, giving them the details of the event and see what they have to say?

I think DFC should try and organise events like these, as we clearly have the facilities to hold it  :-D

if you could Jack, guess you could start with Nicola and find out, prob best to do it ASAP before we send the form and money off

make it clear we dont want the club to do anything apart from give their permission and maybe supply a kit, be nice to wear DFC shirts for the event.

Here is the e-mail I sent. Hope it is ok:

Dear Nicola Collett,

On the forum, we have been discussing the idea of entering a Dartford supporters team into the Eastbourne Borough Supporters Team 6 aside Tournament 2009. We believe we have come up with the team that would represent DFC, but was wondering whether or not we need permission from you to represent the club. It would be great if DFC allowed us to represent Dartford Football Club with your backing. We wouldn't want any other help from DFC, as we are intending to do this ourselves. The link to the forum topic is below:

http://www.dartfordfootballclub.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,5843.0.html

But, we were wondering whether there would be any chance  to organise a special kit for the event, as it would just add to the experience? The information regarding the tournament can be found on the link below:

http://eastbourneboroughsupporterstournament09.webs.com/

Thanks,

Jack Fielder

As soon as I get a reply, I will post it on here
