I think that it was one of those games yesterday, players injured and a lot put on the shoulders of the youngsters, but come on ,we have had a great run which had to end sometime,at half time I said to some other darts fans " this is looking like a 1st goal winner" and for once I was right ,we huffed and puffed trying to get back into it and yes we were unlucky with the woodwork efforts but to me a draw would have been a fair result. Ashford worked hard and although they are no worldbeaters, they have had some good and bad results this season and their celebrations after their goal showed me what a scalp we have become. I am pleasd with our progrees this season but if we are to go for it then IMHO we need a couple of quality players in the very near future,if we can't go to it then we can still do it but it won't be easy,as we found out against Ashford. I agree with the comment about the Route One football. Not picking on Coylie or Flanners because to be honest, they didn't really have any other options but as soon as either received the ball at the back, it was a long ball up to Rob or Cassie which would most commonly be cleared. Seems weird but i think of late we've reversed our form and we're playing better football and getting better results at home whilst we're slipping a bit on the road. Tooting will be a tough one Saturday but hopefully we can get another good crowd in and cheer the players to another 3 points.

^^ Probably just that seeing as he was up and did pretty well playing for the rest of the half. Hopefully nothing too serious, we cant afford another midfielder out.

There was no cut --- after lengthy treatment he did play on for the 10 or so minutes that remained of the first half---however he never came out for the second half --we were told he was talking  gibberish at half time and was in no state to continue.  Was a shame because he was having a really good game before the injury.

I have been thinking since I posted this afternoon, My MOM will go to ROB. He worked hard and tried his best to get the lads up a gear and get something out of the game, but we lacked something, whether it was tactics of what, we did have a bad day at the office and just hope we can get back on track against Tooting & mitcham on saturday.   So ROB gets my vote.

It was concussion, he was still shaky at the end of the game.

I hope the lads ok.  That was a poor by the ref he should have blown up as its a clash of heads. But other than that incident i think he was good, he was strange, but quite refreshing.  Once everyone realised he would only give a free kick for a gun crime, it was a much better flow to the game. Usually if someone dares to make contact as they jump for a header the whistle blows. You had to chop someone up with a chainsaw to get booked!!   They must make em tough in the Ukraine! :police:
