News just in: James Bunn is no longer with the club, thus ruining our topic for today :(

As you said earlier Gary, Bunn is no longer current.

Shame he might have done well over the easter period :-D :-D

(But i very much doubt it)

Nah Youngy didnt have much to do but what he did was very good especially from crosses!

Well a routine win to be honest. Wish we could play Tooting every week and I dont think we will get many easier games in the run in to be honest.

Great goal from Ryno who then proptly pulled up lame and wandered off down the tunnel after approx 5 mins! Still I suppose someone has to get in the showers early. Little did we know that the Tooting skipper would join him for an early shower after flattening Flan with an elbow! what a hardman he proved to be. To**pot!

Rynos injury meant we got a very impressive 85mins from the debutant Carley! Very very good performance and you would think more to come when he really gets used to the rest of the lads!

Rob H was superb yet again and his 2nd goal was my favourite of the season as he literally nosed the ball over the line from a yard having gone round the goalkeeper! Great stuff!

Other things to note the defence yet again did the biz and whilst Tommy seems to have taken most of the plaudits lately (and rightly so) reckon Flan has been outstanding lately and he looks a lot fitter as well! You cant help but look at our remaining fixtures and think we have a chance of making the play offs! Bring on Hastings!

Great reults today. done us all proud!

shame they got our attendance wrong on the league table site,

http://football.mitoo.co.uk/LeagueTab.cfm?TblName=Matches&DivisionID=1905&LeagueCode=ISTH2008

guessing they swapped ours and dovers.

Think the top three positions are taken now and its going to be a run in for the other two spots!

agree with the last posting.flanagan really has worked on his fitness and looks the business now.
ryan hayes has a shout for mom for five miutes play.a brilliant goal showed all his skills in the execution of the goal and before that he  tore tooting to shreds twice.
his replacement carley was simply outstanding, the clear mom for me.he did his work starting a bit deep but showed pace ,intelligence and vision. he will do a lot of damage starting in the front two.its early days but i think tony is going to have to find his replacement next season because he's another £15k/£20k man :-D
we are getting better and better as a team and if we make the play offs whoever play us will be doing it in their pants

Think the top three positions are taken now and its going to be a run in for the other two spots!

Not sure that the 3rd place is quite as sorted as you think Sponge. Current 3rd Tonbridge, although in good form, still have away trips to Carshalton, Staines & the Mighty Darts all during March. Carshalton (4th) have only managed 8pts from a maximum 21pts in their last 7 games and look shaky. Similarly Sutton Utd have also only managed 7pts from a maximum 21pts. Dartford have accumulated 14pts from the last 7 games, only losing once and conceding 2 goals. Perhaps only Hornchurch might have been able to get amongst the pack but I think their 0-0 with Maidstone today might have ended their chances. Horsham have to play 5 of 6 games away in March. Granted it's not going to be easy (in fact I reckon it's gonna be extremely close) but I wouldn't put 3rd place out of reach of DFC just yet. That side today looked a pretty fair one to me.
