Very poor attendance of 334 last night. Mind you seeing the conditions, im not to suprised. Seeing as we were all so far from the action in the second half, which lets face it, was played 90% in our half. i took the opportunity to do a quick head count up our end, which seemed to be all Darts, and there was 115. I think, what with the people in the stand we probably took about 150 ish, which nearly accounted for half the gate. So a good turn out methinks, considering.

We were poor ,the ref was poor and the conditions were poor, plus,s food was good very good price and we came away with a point that was all we deserved last night when we played like a team of strangers ,we only put together a move with four passes once all the game so that tells you how bad we were.I thought Hastings played some neat football and on another day would have won but for another fine display by Andy in goal MOTM by a mile.UP THE DARTS.

got a parking ticket last nite cant quite think why :x :x

thought we were not at the races last night and apart from Youngy and Carey ( who was for me fantastic )
we didnt perform but.... if we can get points away and win our home games like we have been at PP lately
we will get in that top 5, hopefully we can play better than that thow in the remaining away games this
season!!!!

Just another quick word about the lad Carey, reminds me of Cody with his speed and although we dont now
how consistent he will be infront of goal, he showed great comitment to the course last night hopefully
the flood gates will open with the goals soon and if they do i think he will be a great signing.

Not a great performance tonight  xno--conditions were awful but Hastings coped better in them  than we did---Hastings were very physical and quick to close us down and appart from the Noble chance and the header that hit the bar I can't remember any other worthwhile Darts efforts. Referee must have left his cards at home tonight--not one booking all game and Lee Noble again received more than his fair share of physical assaults without any protection from the ref.

MOM Andy Young without a doubt--good turnout from the travelling fans on an awful night but if truth be told we were fortunate to come away with a point--for long spells we were under great pressure particularly in the second half.  Great save at the end from Andy to ensure we came home with one point.

KST --- I'm certain  the booing was directed at the ref ...............after one of the most inept performances I've ever seen from one.

On to Margate !!

I can't really add much more to John's assessment. Awful conditions and below par performance which we were probably a bit lucky to get a point from.

Whilst I had a degree of sympathy with some of the unpunished treatment that Lee got, I really don't think he helps himself by constantly whinging at the Referees, who must get fed up with him in their ear!

Once again a poor excuse for a referee at a Ryman game! Lee was getting a lot of punishment, but if you watched carefully the Hastings players were taking it in turns, so that the referee didn't see the same player doing it all the time. That said I don't think we played well enough to win the game. The one off the crossbar straight to Rob should've been put away, but I wasn't at that end so I don't know how much Rob knew about it. Lee should've perhaps made more of his 1on1 with their keeper but full marks to the  keeper for getting a hand to it to put it out for a corner.
Andy was our MOTM in my opinion, at least 2 very good saves to deny Hastings almost certain scoring opportunities. Craig certainly looks like he has the speed, and on a night with better weather might have really made some ground.
It was horrendous for us watching I dread to think what it was like out on the pitch. The rain was coming in almost horizontally across the pitch with the wind. I did notice a number of players slipping over frequently, wether that was a bad choice in studs/blades or just down to the pitch I don't know.
I think the weather played a part in the turnout, I estimated that  at least half the crowd of 334 were Darts  xbow xbow xbow It's just a shame that the game couldn't have been played on the original saturday (or perhaps an early or late season one) because the turnout would have been considerably higher.
Still onwards and upwards we are now 5th albeit on goal difference but with a 5 point gap from 6th to 7th. Another seaside trip on saturday, another club with 'difficulties' and ANOTHER club at the bottom end of the league........

Apparently the wardens come round on match days because of the double yellows over by the houses and to catch anyone who parks with two wheels on the kerb in the main road. One of their guys said the away supporters are aways getting done. I was lucky I parked the same as the car in front which was fully in the main road, I might have gone up on the kerb if the car in front had.

If there were double yellows you have had it.

However, have had a number of discussions with Dartford Council on Parking scenarios. I get pi**ed off with people who park fully on the pavement (outside Dartford Grammar School) and who churn up grass verges all over the place (now if my dog has a sh*t on a grass verge, I am liable for an extortionate fine).

Apparently, Dartford Ticket People can only enforce tickets where people park on single yellows and on double yellows. They have no power to ticket if your wheels are on the kerb on a normal road, and get this, if you park fully on the pavement even though there are double yellow lines on the road they cannot touch you as it is a Police matter (obstruction etc). So Ticket inspectors in Dartford on have powers for the highway. It may be different elsewhere.

They also don't enfore cycle lane obstructions, and to that matter, what the hell are those white lines on the pAVEMENT along shepherds lane.

Rant over, but I am sure will resurface at a later point.

O.B..skill wasn't a factor

You're not kidding!  OB was well respected on the terraces (and I understand in the dressing room) for his motivational skills.

Perhaps we need to train one of the current players to run to the crowd at the end of matches and shout and clench their fist. Instant folk hero!

The Hastings keeper for the match was Jani Seitsonen (not Greg Nessling as previously stated).

Some of you Dartford supporters may remember him quite well from past encounters.
