t the start of the season i think we would have taken staying in this league, then along came Cody and all talk went of promotion.

We was poor prior to Cody coming along and we are not much better now.

We do need to bring in a couple of players, i know Tony tried again this week but did not get very far.

We do miss Danny and Ryno they both have very different qualities that they bring to the game.

If we do get promotion this season it will be by luck rather than anything else.

And before someone says i being negative i'm just putting what i think...... don't shoot me.......

Overall a very poor performance from both teams, though as Tony has put in his notes at this stage of the season it is all about the 3 points. Today we did not deserve the points lots of hard work from the lads but things did not go our way not for the want of effort or desire. Several players were well below par today. Harrow looked there for the taking but grew in confidence as the game went on and realised we didn't have much to break them down.

Roll on Hornchurch ! Lets get back to seeing the real Darts for the remaining games of the season.

Rambo,

Were we watching the same game?  If the officials had any clue the number 5 would not have lasted half an hour.  He won most balls as he was constantly holding or pushing, a theme that sadly ran through the whole team.  Even the keeper got in on the act making a huge fuss over a soft challenge to get Craig booked.  Sad to say, I actually hope they get relegated.

I have given up commenting on officials recently, but these had an even worse game than our team did, and that is quite an achievement.

Hopefully by next week, we will work out how to get the ball from one end of the pitch to the other whilst using the grass.

Come on you DARTS!

are there any decent centre halfs that dont hold or push

i am a rare breed that actually takes notice of the opposition, their number 11 was pretty tasty as well

p--- poor today      really was and I am never one for moaning    I will support us through thick and thin but we really didn't have a clue going forward today apart from the first few minutes !

We badly missed Day, Ryno and Dafter today who IMHO are 3 of our best 4 players

What got me though was the bloke to the right of the goal in the 2nd half who kept slagging TB off           now he has a right to have an opinion but it's not like we are in the bottom 4 or something is it         we are chasing a play off place and hadn't lost at home since November I think !

Anyway   let's try to forget this one today      surely we can't play any worse can we  xshrug

Craig got booked, when the keeper just stood there with his knee up almost level with Craig's chest  xshrug xshrug xshrug xshrug Pathetic referring for the final 30 minutes of the game , AND as far as I am aware, he WASN'T being assessed ........

And what was Guesty supposed to have done to warrant a booking that was worse than anything the HB players were getting away with????

And the opposite could be said for the board members AND the supporters as far as I could see.

very poor game , hb were a poor team but deserved the points just about, to many players out, with jd we may have had the edge, but before kickoff i was told he wasnt playing i new we would struggle, as for there no 5 for me one of the worst players i have seen this season ! ! On the bright side we are still in the mix and having a very good season overall, so on to hornchurch. Up the darts.

i totally agree with comments made about their no 5 but even tall  , fat , uselless players {?} become half tidy when ALL they have to do all day is head high balls away  , not rocket science to work that one out !!!!!!!!!!!

i bet he aint much good when one - two's  [ on the floor ] are played aroung him but hey "  thats football "  ????????

genuinely , fingers crossed for a much improved performance at hornchurch next week

We were far to predictable, I don't remember the HB keeper having a serious shot to save and although we huffed and puffed it was not going to happen for us. The main difference for me was retention ,when HB had the ball they passed it and to some extent looked comfortable on the ball, whilst we have drifted back to"lumping " it up for Rob ,and even if he can flick it on we don't have the pace to take advantage, unless we do bring in a couple of quality players I can't see anything other than about 8th place ,we did miss Ryno,Danny and Daisy but it is a nippy finisher  that is sadly lacking. I would have jumped at 49 points in mid March, back in August, but it is dissapointing when our season does look in danger of fizzling out .HB have had some good results and we shouldn't overlook that but our last 3 games have produced just one outfield goal and a penalty .it was not difficult to see why on saturday ,a bad day at the office? maybe, we shall find out at hornchurch which will be another stern test COYDss

I looked at the form guide yesterday before leaving to watch the match yesterday and thought to myself that we need to field a strong side  to get anything from this game.I then get to the ground to find we are still without ryan and danny and also jamie is unavailable which led me to think we might struggle to get a result.Perhaps I should have trusted my instincts and stayed with the mother in law and learnt more about their midweek break in malaga.Left the ground dejected and wondering where the next points would be coming from. Lets just hope that the slump we are in at the moment ends at hornchurch on saturday and we can consign the last three games to that dark corner of the memory banks that we dont have to visit very often. On the bright side spoke to danny during the warm up and he seems to think he will be available from next week.
