Considering Deren and Karl Dent who play for the whites have played for us already I assume they are already eligible????? I believe one of the academy players is a first team regular at Sittingbourne - Who it is I don't know though. That said they are great to watch  xbow xbow xbow xbow

the whites academy lad is COLIN RICHMOND who is holding down a regualr midfield place at sittingbourne in the RL1 south presumably as the U21s play in such a crap league !!!!!!!

he is a fine prospect !!!!!!

the club should start a campaign to get our U21s inthe top kent league [ with the VCDs , E & Bs etc ] as we just dont develop lads into the 1st team as its to big of an initial step up so they go and paly elsewhere

the top kent league are desperate for teams [ thats why that team from east london were allowed in and they have lost every game this season so far] so surely allowing reserve teams in from say welling, darts , maidstone etc has got to be a good move for them

i realise that IF a 1st team from the RL1 got relegated into the top kent league then it would be unacceptable but then just relagte the reserve team down one league and IF the reserve team were to get promoted then tough they would have to stay where they are

in the top kent league teams can only get promoted IF their grounds are up to standard so it doesnt always mean that the title winners get promoted

time for the old fa.ts at the kent f a got their heads out of the clouds and into the real world and maybe a petition would help

until such times as this happens we will never reap the reward of the academy and  u21 efforts unless the players leave to play higher level and then [ maybe] come back to us

henno is doing a terrific job but on a loser due to this gulf in class , hope he doesnt get p....d off ???????

How come the Whites are performing so much better than the Reds? What determines which Academy players play for which team? Are they in effect 1st and 2nd teams?

I think they are both in the first year of the Academy but when it was all set up at the start of the season,Jamie Coyle and Simon Copley who run the team just grabbed all the best players first leaving the rest for the Reds.Bit like being at School when i was always picked last!!!

Congradulations to everyone involved. In now seems that they go into playoffs against the other champions from across the country who are: Burton Abion,Birmingham City,Crawley Town,Brightlingsea Regent (whoever they are) and the one division that has not quite been decided but looks like Woking.  xanorak  xanorak
