We are a bit Arsenal-esqe when it comes to playing lower table opposition. I'd love to say we need to do something about it but to be honest, i don't think there can be anything that can be said that'll make it better.  xshake Have we actually beaten a bottom four club this season?

Hendon 1-0 at home.Had to think about that one.In fact we have only lost to a bottom four side once and that was Margate at home.

Note to roving reporters. Jamie Day is still suspended for this match, so any "cheeky and inventive" attempt he has of sneaking on the pitch without being on the team sheet won't happen - unless you've been on the "brew" all day :)

Afternoon Darts,
Just to give those of you travelling to the Vale on Saturday by train an advanced warning, good old TFL have decided in their infinite wisdom to undertake track replacement works on the Metropolian Line between Wembley Park and Uxbridge for the length of the Easter Weekend.
Therefore I'd recommend you travel by the Piccadilly Line to Ruislip or Central Line to Ruislip Gardens instead, otherwise you'll end up in the shadow of the FA's expensive white elephant with either an awful bus ride or expensive cab ahead of you!
Save trip down y'all!

Mr Bananas,

I assume doing the journey to West Ruislip from Marylebone is still a viable option? Tubing it from London Bridge/Charing X is a bit of a haul (not to mention a severe test of some of the older Darts bladders). xshake

Oh yes, the walk from West Ruislip isn't too bad, maybe 15-20 mins though, but only passes one pub on the way.
Come out of West Ruislip Station, turn right, walk about 500 yards and you come to a mini roundabout (by the White Bear Pub), hang a right down Wood Lane, 500 yards ish again, at the mini round about take a right/straight on approach onto West End Road, follow it around the bend about 200 yards past the rugby club and Grosvenor Vale is first on the left where the road bends to the right. Ground at end of the road.
Bar will be open and you are more than welcome to have a pint or six!

There's a decent curry house opposite the station if you feel like indulging on the way back! lol

For any interested parties travelling by train today, cold refreshment will be taken in the station bar @ Marylebone prior to a 13:34 departure to Wealdstone FC. Please feel free to join us :-D

Right now it's off for a bit of brekkie with TLD.
