Boreham Wood (A) [Text/Reaction]
« on: April 21, 2009, 09:44:27 PM »

Really looking forward to this one. Looks like we may well outnumber the Boreham Wood home support too.

"This was their seventeenth defeat at home, which can only be attributed to the appallingly low crowds that come to Meadow Park. Hopefully 600 interested folk of Billericay this coming Saturday can spur the side on to the important victory required."

This was from their own website. No wonder they don't have a fans forum. What's the point in a football club without fans???

Also is it true we've got 3 coaches going to this one??

Would be great if we could take the same support as went to Edgeware for last seasons last game, but suppose thats never going to happen with it being a nothing game.

its the last game of the season at a place that has seen a max attendance of 220! i dont see y we would take 300-400 being the last game and a good old drink up.

if we could match the edgware game and the singing in the pub b4 hand taking over everywhere we went, that would b quality!

Sadly due to some inconsiderate family members arranging a wedding  xshake xshake xshake      Hummer-Kid, Stephen (Wheels) and I will be unable to attend this fixture, to say I am gutted is an understatement.
I have every faith in the team continuing the run of form, bearing in mind that Borehamwood can still be relegated if we beat them and Margate win on saturday (playing Staines so I don't think they will be  that confident of a win  xshrug xshrug xshrug although Staines are safely in 2nd place).
On a Stato note Borehamwood's crowds this season have ranged from 96 to 220(against Hendon last week!) Dover only managed a crowd of 218. So as DO said, we could very well (quite easily I suspect) outnumber the home support, to see the DARTS finish the season on a high. A win would see us produce our best winning run of the season (4 games on the trot)
Needless to say I will have my phone handy for the text updates  xwhis xwhis xwhis xwhis xwhis xwhis xwhis

Borehamwood will certainly be up for this game and will be out to get something to avoid relegation because if Margate can get at least a draw at Staines and Wood lose then Gate stay up and Wood go down. Hopefully we can help our fellow county friends to do this by taking 3pts away with us on Saturday. Id much rather see Margate stay up than Boredom Wood.

Wow, that so called forum has had a combined total of 17 posts since the start of January, most of them being fans from other teams....really hope Margate get a result, they've got good passionate fans and i'd much rather have them in the league next year.

UP THE DARTS!! I've got 10 of my mates coming to this one, gutted to miss the Ashford game as I heard the atmosphere was the best at home this season so lets take that forward to this Saturday.

BTW, what are the prices for this saturday's game>>

I hope that loads of dart fans make the trip as its the finish of football for at least a couple of months , the lseasons last  game is always an occasion including the presentationof the AWAY player of the season plus borehamwood will need to win so the game itself has a real meaning as our guys wont be laying down and i really want margate to survive the drop

so IF you are having 2nd thoughts about going then dont , turn up and enjoy the day , 12 goals in 3 games should also help

i suspect [ believe] that borehamwoods seasons best crowd figure will get slaughtered !!!!!!!!!
