Talk about 'after the Lord Mayor's' show. Sounds to have been just as boring as Gillingham's 0-0. But perhaps not as boring as the "Green Fair" that my son dragged me and my wife to at Edenbridge from 11.30 am to 3.30 pm. THAT was a REAL yawn, with no prospect of even one saving moment of brilliance. :-( :-( xshake xshake

Still, if anyone doesn't have a hangover in the morning:

KCFA U18's Final

Ashford Town v Dartford FC
Faversham Town F.C. Ground. Kick off 10.30 a.m.
Salters Lane, ME13 8ND

Entrance is £3.00 adults £2.00 concessions

On another note, looks like Aveley have pipped East Thurrock United (where Brendon Cass is on loan) to the title. Aveley were winning with mins to go

My motm vote has to go to Andy Young today who was superb and won us the point, without him they couldve had 3 or 4. Flanners was a close 2nd. A very good showing from the darts fans, we must of had close to 400 with us. No idea of actual attendance though.

Dunno about 400, but must have been 300+.
its been a good introduction to premier division football, and i think a final position of 8th is what most of us were expecting. Just a little disappointed that the away form fizzled out so much. in the last 8 away games we managed just the two goals at Margit. Strange!

Bit of a damp squib to finish on but all in all a very good season. The previous 3 games have whetted the appetite for next season we are not that far away I reckon!

Who does anyone fancy in the play offs? Tonbridge and Staines must start red hot favourites...just cant understand how Sutton are in there and Carshalton you just never know although they were poor when we beat them 0-2 at their place!

Had to pay £6 to get which was a rubbish price for the quality of the ground. No wonder they can't attract any fans.
However, was speaking to one of their stewards/ supporters and he was saying that they tried bringing the price down by half earlier in the season and they offered free tickets in school but there was no success in that. So at least they tried to up their support , I guess in some places people just don't want to watch non-league football, regardless of admission.

Very disappointing display by the lads today, and if it wasn't for ANDY in goal pulling off at leased three cracking saves we would have came home with our tails between our legs. My MOM  ANDY YOUNG.

You had one goalkeeper (B.W.) who failed to hold a few tame shots and crosses, yet we never tested him seriously with a single shot and at the other end Andy pulled of 4 or 5 incredible saves to gain us a point.

Otherwise a typical end of season performance from the Darts with nothing to play for and B.W. always going to be happy with a point and the referee showing that he should have retired after the last game we had him officiating in.(Brentwood away sending off Jay)

Highlight of the visit to B.W. was arriving around 12.45 and spending some quality time with a good bunch of fans before kickoff, then the time spent afterwards(forgetting a dire game) and the Grassbank award going to Tommy, not my choice as I felt it should have been Andy, but thoroughly deserved in the eyes of the majority, well done Tommy.

My M.O.M. goes to Andy today although Flanners ran him close and with luck this performance will give Andy the winning votes and he will collect this Forums "Babs Leach Memorial Shield" albeit that I do feel a bit sorry that Robbie probably won't win a trophy from the fans, but must be in with a chance of either the Managers Player or Players Player of the Season awards.

Looking at B.W. attendances for the season I would suggest that we had nearer 350 fans at the game which made 453 easily their best gate of the season.

As I gave Canvey to come up with us last season as my 'Dark Horse' team. I'm going to stick with  another 'Dark Horse' of mine for this year. I really fancy Staines to get the play-offs, but ever since they played at our place I've been saying Sutton Utd. And as they have dropped away since Xmas, they've made the play-offs and a similar strain of footie as applied against us will see them through. But I really hope that Staines get it as they were the best club I'd seen at PP this season.
Well done the lads for a really entertaining season, and let's hope we can go that one step further next season by getting automatic promotion. Well done TB and Paul and all the backroom staff for a fun time this season.
Thanks all you lads for the banter on here, and all the supporters who have ventured to PP and away. Whether you're a true Dart or not let's all hope for a bloody good season 09-10.
