YOU'VE SEEN BOTH FILMS???!!!! Bloody hell Gary, you deserve the money for that alone! Or maybe you should be ridiculed for not learning from your first mistake?

I can sometimes appreciate the art of bad films, which can make it enjoyable. Last night though, I saw Tormented starring thingy Pettyfer and half of the cast of Skins. Terrible, terrible film. One of the worst I have ever seen. Really, really bad.

Steph and I went to Star Trek a couple of weeks ago at Bluewater. It was awwwwllright.... but to be honest I though it looked and felt like just an extended TV episode. Also, and I'm afraid I tend to do this and wreck films for anyone with me ) there are a number of holes in the storyline and the general construct of the movie.  For example, ahem, if they have the technology to vapourise and appear somewhere else, how come groups of twenty of them are plodding round the universe in space shuttles (like the recruits travelling to training) in the first place?  Also, (SLIGHT PLOT SPOILER AHEAD), one minute they are being chased around the tundra by a massive snow monster and just make it into a cave. The next minute they are exiting the cave and walking miles without a care in the world.  Come on. What kind of hungry, psychopathic monster just goes away?.  Also ..... "oh for christ sake Jeremy just leave it will you and let's go home...."    xgiggle

Not bad. But still waiting for the last Harry Potters.

Worst two films I've ever seen are Armegeddon and Pearl Harbour, both starring Ben Affleck.

The only good thing about Pearl Harbour was this time the Americans managed to bugger up their own history this time instead of ours!

saw Night At The Museum 2 on Tuesday and have to agree that hank Azaria as the Egyptian was the best part of the film. Also for me it was more a case of a study trip as I am ending my days as an evil, baby killing, gun running, murderer and I'm off to work in the Firepower Museum.

I need to know how to handle myself when all the waxwork models come to life.

Pearl Harbor I've not watched because I've heard it is despicable. Armageddon though? It's ridiculous, but it's a decent enough watch. Anything which Will Patton is in, should be watched, in my opinion.

last film I saw at the cinema was The Reader (missus idea, not mine). Wasnt as bad as a I thought it would be, Kate Winslet gets hers baps out about 22 (and 1/2) times!! I always struggle with book to film films, the worst being the golden compass (only slightly pipping any of the Harry Potter films).

However, on DVD, we watched Clerks last night, absolute classic film! I think British films are the best though, Blue Juice is well watching (stars a very young Ewan McGregor, Katherine Zeta Jones and Worzal Gummages son). Also check out 'Once Upon a Time in teh Midlands', another classic Brit Flick, extremaly funny!

Wot? Like she does in nearly every other film she's ever made ..... not that I'm complaining, mind :-D

Don't think I've been to the cinema since going to see "There Will Be Blood" (excellent movie) and before that it must have been "Zodiac" which is now safely ensconsed towards the top of my all time top 10 films list. If you've never seen it (and have got 2 & 3/4 hours to spare) I thoroughly recommend it. Brilliant!! xtip

I got Zodiac on Blu-Ray the other week on the off chance (had never heard of it before but it was cheap on play or amazon) and was impressed; excellent film!

Talking of films, is it too soon to say I got a film on blu-ray, or should I stick to saying DVD?

Trip to the cinema last night enabled me to take in the delights of the film 12 Rounds.

By the end of it I thought I had gone 12 rounds. One of the worst acting performances I have ever seen from John Cena. As soon as it came up at the start that it was a WWE production I should have guessed.

Actually story and plot was OK and it wasn't slow but has been done before and better by Die Hard 3 and Speed.
